You think thats bad? He pretty much slated Microsofts 08 lineup. He didnt like banjo, and levelled pretty much the same criticisms from the Killzone 2 preview against Gears 2. I think the only ones he didnt lay into were Too human and NGII (although he did complain about the camera).
Garnett seems to be in an overly critical mood at the moment, but hes right in the sense that you cant just go around hyping your favourite games and ignoring reality. He was right on the money about how disappointing Microsofts showing was, and hes more than likely right about this too.

Interesting, I do like negative previews sometimes. I like this guy, he makes me lower my expectations. Lowered expectations = more satisfaction most of the time.
Agreed, it helps you keep your hype levels realistic.....preventing massive disappointments. A good example of this scenario is a little game called Fable. Most people raised their levels of hype so much due to all of Peter Molyn00bs promises, that they were utterly and completely let down by the game. I just chose to keep a level head about it myself, and I ended up digging Fable nearly more than any game I played on Xbox last gen. It's all about trying to remain realistic.
Your teammates are useless for anything but drawing an auto turret's attention, as they'll routinely walk into your line of fire, then turn on you when you accidentally shoot them. Only then do they have any accuracy, resulting in frustrating deaths.

Flop. I feel sad for all the lemmings going "what else will cow's play this year!???!". What will you be playign when MGS4 is out? umm maybe other games that have realesed, right?
