I think the thing I am excited about this game the most is the custom games.

You can pick the map and gametype, then the next game different map different game type and so on, and it play these games in a loop. I hav'nt seen a Multiplayer console FPS game do this yet where you can continuely play different maps and gametypes straight after another. usually you would have to go back to the lobby and create a new game.

Also the class where you can mix your classes, for example you could be a scout with the cloaking device and also medic where you could heal or leave medi packs. the customisation will guarentee really epic fights and great team play as the more I have read and looked into this it looks like Killzone 2 main aim is to force team work when it comes to multipayer, which is great.

It's a sony console and IMo they have always delivered, did'nt have any expectations because of this and know this console will go from strentgh to strength. Just look at the PS3 exclusive games coming our way to see.

i'm waiting, i'm not sure if it will raise the bar, but it will surely be fun.CookieGoat
I think it will when it comes to Multiplayer, the custom options alone is mouth watering.

They are two big games with weaknesses and strengths.

But if I had to choose one it would be Far Cry 2 just for the map editor.

Now I have been a member of Killzone.com and the offical Playstation forums for a while now and the pretty cool thing with these two forums is that you get rarely but it happens talk to the DEVS of Killzone 2.

IMO this game is going to raise the bar in console FPS.

The multiplayer alone, the classes the different skills you have for each class. the graphics won't differ from the campaign. The way they are going out of there way with Clan support, I have never been a part of a clan before but what they are doing is so impressive I am actually thinking of joining one or starting one.

The only downside is Feb 2009 is too far away, but you know what they say "The best things come to those who wait". Well here's hoping.8)
