microsoft: B. the original console is an F but the slim is an A in quality. the controller is the best on the market. xbl has its ups and downs but for the most part it is easily the best option for multiplayer and worth the $60 I pay every year. the games have been good for the most part seeing as 99% of the games i like are 3rd party. kinect aint really my thing but its not horrible and the smartglass is solid, i like using my ipad as a keyboard. all in all, MS did a solid job this gen so i'll give it a B.
Sony: C+/B- area. The online still leaves a lot to be desired. people dnt really communicate that often in multiplayer games that often. despite the fact that its free, i mean, u would think people would take advantage of that. again, i like 3rd party games so they were good. the controller is ok, nothing special. the bluray is solid if thats your thing, personally i go to the movies or stream from netflix and whatever. PS move is ok, like kinect, its just not my thing. all in all, Sony did an admirable job. i feel like the online experience could be better but its still a good solid system. despite the whole month of psn being down. if it was on par with live i would grade it higher but since its not, and most 3rd party games are better on xbox, i have to give them a strong c+
nintendo: B- i hold them to the highest standard because of their history. the wii was a well thought out casual system that rubbed a lot of people the wrong way. the 3rd party games were pathetic but the  first party games balanced it out slightly. the online is the worst by far. its like they didnt even try. with that said, at family get togethers, the wii line of party games and wii sports are extremely fun and competitive. and it allows everybody in the family to enjoy it. that alone carries the wii. all in all, its not a system that could stand up to the other 2 if it came down to performance alone but the wii takes u back like no other game system this gen to where games were less about graphics and more about being fun and intuitive. the wii is a b- in my book.
PC: C+ while i prefer controllers and the console online experience over PC's. nobody has the amount of pure quality games that pc has. thats basically the whole basis of my review for pc.
Apple: B. The games on ipad are cheap but fun and competitive. i can stream it with apple tv and i can take it everywhere unlike the others i reviewed. with that said, besides puzzle and arcade games, there  is no way it can compete with hardcore games. all in all, the sheer versatility of the ipad forces me to give it nothing less than a B but the lack of any type of hardcore games keep it from getting anything higher.
no company or game system has been perfect this gen but they were all solid in their own way.
