u still gotta stay alive thru all that and camp or snipe 4 a lil bit. its not nowhere near easyThis may be just me, but I don't understand how it's so hard to get a 25 kill streak. You get the first three kills for a drone. While that drone is up, you locate at least two more guys to kill for the airstrike. Using the still-active drone, you call in that airstrike on at LEAST two enemies, earning a helicopter. By this point, you have 7-10+ kills. Then the helicopter starts raking in the kills, and you're pretty much halfway there only after personally killing FIVE FREAKING PEOPLE.

[QUOTE="KingBungie"]when i played cod4 for the 1st time (6 months after it came out) i managed to get a 21 kill streak........ that sums up how easy this game is now every noob gunna use death streaks to get 25 kill streaks MrSlippery39
I'm sorry but thats the most retarded comment i've ever heard. If you take a look at the death streaks, they don't offer remotely close enough of a bonus to let a n00b completely dominate the game. Plus if people want to try out their death streaks, let them. Thats free kills for you.
great point[QUOTE="KingBungie"]when i played cod4 for the 1st time (6 months after it came out) i managed to get a 21 kill streak........ that sums up how easy this game is now every noob gunna use death streaks to get 25 kill streaks SoNin360Lol deathstreaks aren't goint to benefit THAT much. Sure they may help someone who is struggling get a few extra undeserved kills, but i doubt it will have that huge of an affect. Besides everyone is going to be activating deathstreaks at one point... u right. i agree with that
i doubt many people actually got a 25 kill streak in cod4
my highest was like 21 and i played alot
mine was 27 hahareally? wow? last time i checkedps3 hadblu rayand is still in 3rd place in the system war. all this fanboyism on this website is crazy. ps3 and 360 both great game systems. the wii solid. why cant yall just accept that
ps3 had some cold exclusives this year no doubt. 360 won every multiplat battle. wii... wii still a cute lil game system 4 now. its still alot of year left and all yall ppl nut ridin any game system need a life. no disrespect 2 nobody. they all got alot 2 offer in they own way

If you like Mario, Zelda, SSB, Metroid and the gang, I think you should.
If you aren't in love with those franchises, hold off.
I am PSWii60, and I got to admit it's nice, but I also have to admit my Wii doesn't get as much playtime as he did back in 2007. Then again, for you, you could go back and play all the games I've enjoyed this entire gen, plus upcoming gems.
I say go for it, but make sure you have key titles in mind before you make the jump. It's about the games, not the machine. :)

hmm I'll have to give it more careful thought. though i absolutely love Mass Effect franchise, i can wait for the future and buy it when it's dirt cheap and i can afford a PC desktop that could properly handle it. but keeping a machine that plays just ONE game i can't justify it. Another reason is i hang out at my friends dorm room and we don't typically play together because when were on PS3 it's either one of us or the other, almost never the same person.
primarily what's driving me towards the Wii are three things,
- Mario, Samus, Virtual Console Donkey Kong and Star Fox.
- I can locally with friends.
- Different library from PS3.
Primary concern is game-time. so the Wii would almost entirely be merely a subsidiary (part of the show) not THE show. there are more games i'm anticipating for my PS3 then i'm looking forward to the Wii. which i guess helps out when things get boring on the PS3.
I've compiled a list of games i'd definently definently pick up for the Wii.
- New Super Mario Brothers Wii
- Super Mario Galaxy
- Super Mario Brothers Brawl
- Legend of Zelda : Twilight Princess
- Punch Out
- Metroid Prime Trilogy (3 games)
- Super Mario World
- Super Metroid
- Donkey Kong Country (loved loved loved this game as a kid)
- Star Fox 64
- Metroid : Other M
- Epic Mickey
- Super Mario Galaxy 2
- Legend of Zelda : Wii *
- Muramasa's Demon's Blade
that's about it... right there. not much else interests me.
still don't know, main concern is if i'll even play it or not. all that cash could be just going to more software for my PS3, PSP Go, and DS.
(check out my wishlist on my profile... it is pretty long heh).
3,4 and 14 great games. the rest avg or worseI'm just wondering some of the thoughts on this.
my PS3 has practically taken up all my entertainment time, and though i love my 360, practically every game on it i can get on the PS3. with the exception of Mass Effect 1 and 2 at the moment. not in the near future, but soon enough when i'm out of college i'll be able to afford a real desktop, so i could just wait till then to pick up Mass Effect (or by luck Mass Effect may very well come to the PS3 at a later date).
lately the Wii has been looking really good at the moment as a console for games that do something besides shoot it. lol...
plus i'm missing Mario, Yoshi, Star Fox, Donkey Kong, and Metroid.
This is purely down the road, and i thought i'd share some of my thoughts.
so what do you think a go for the Wii or no go? mind you the Wii would be a purely subsidary gaming console. while there is a drought with the Wii between the awesome first party stuff, i could play on my PS3.
hmmm?
1rst off let me start off by sayin i love nintendo. with that said. u'll be gettin a n64 or snes than a wii. thats real talk
