I think it's obvious that if you are looking for a great single player game, you should pick up Bioshock. If you are looking for multiplayer, pick up Halo 3...If the only reason you ever bought your 360 was to play skateboarding games...then pick up Skate...it's that simple! :P

It's no where near my calender...wait, I don't even have a calender. I have never had an interest in the Halo series and still don't. My only reason for likely picking up this game eventually is simply for the 4 player online co-op...

I already pre-ordered and paid in full for my limited edition of Bioshock...it will be my first ever purchase of a limited edition. To me you get so much for your extra money and this is a game I've been waiting for, what seems like forever. The fact that it's coming out in about 2 weeks completely blows my mind...

[QUOTE="hjart6"]skate is a "realistic" peace of s*** outta EA's asshjart6

O.K... then keep playing the tony hawk serie until combo under 10 000 000 are not worth anything in the game.

i dont play tony hawk either (anymore at least). Anyways, i've tried the previous EA skate games and they failed pretty hard and fail at bulls*** realism

This is the first one that is beign developed by EA Blackbox. The other ones were just published by EA :|

I remember playing something for the PS2, i think it was called skate also but im not sure. But its pretty damn similar

I think the game you may be thinking of is ESPN X Games Skateboarding, but I believe that was published by Konami...I could be wrong. That games tried to focus on realism to an extent from what I recall...key word being "tried"

nah, thats not it

I can't think of another game...hmmm

After seeing both games in action I was expecting to go out and say Tony Hawk all the way...but Skate at the moment has won me over with it's more realistic direction. It is yet to be proved whether or not EA will be able to truly deliver that experience, but as of now Skate has my vote.

I haven't checked out the new downloadable content, but I've heard that is actually pretty good. Though I will likely not get it based on the fact that the FEAR userbase is so low and will likely just continue to decrease...I am also curious and looking forward to FEAR Files

Well I haven't played in a while, but there seemed to be a small group of devoted people playing FEAR all the time...When I do play I'm usually playing against the same people. It's a bit of a shame, I find FEAR to be one of the best online games available...
