Sony has such a powerful fan-base that even this set back will not affect sales like they would MS or Nintendo. Nintendo especially has to stay ship-shape because they've lost many of their original fans (now a mature audience) to Xbox and PS. It is easier to keep your consumers than it is to win them over. Sony has the consumers, everyone else has to buy them over. Sure, this set back will be somewhat significant, but not enough to hurt Sony.
For some reason, my NES collection never had that problem. My friends all did. They would be blowing and blowing. But my games- played on the first try.
