I've got a Netgear Rangemax Wireless Cable Router and never had any problems with it. It might set you back a bit but its worth it.

I'm upgrading from an integrated Geforce 9100 chipset to a 4870 and was wondering if there's anything specific I need to do, or is it a simple case off, slap in the 4870, then disable the chipset?

I'll see how my order goes, but will try scan, ebuyer or dabs next time.

I bought a faulty cpu from them, it had a bent pin. When I asked for a replacement they just refused, even though legally I was in the right. My advice is if you are buying anything ovber £100 use a credit card so you can claim from the card company. I would have had to take them to court to get my part back. In the end I bent the pin back to shape and got it working. Bottom line they are an appaling company if something goes wrong with thier product dont expect any help at all.

I'd heard much the same. Lots of people saying that normally they were good until you had to return something and they didn't want to know.

It was a toss up between them and microdirect, who also seem to be totally crap, so took your advice and bought from overclockers on credit card.

Cheers

Just about to order a new PSU and 4870 512MB from Overclockers and it seems they've had some bad press recently.

Anyone had any experiences with them in the past?

I'm just about to change my 300W PSU for a 650W Antec Truepower.

Is it just a simple case of, unplug everything first, take out old PSU, put in new PSU, job done?

Never changed one before so just wanna make sure I'm not missing anything obvious.

[QUOTE="AFX77UK"]

Am looking at buying one, but is there really any "major" difference between the 512MB card and the 1GB?

neatfeatguy

Go for the 1GB if you game on a monitor that supports a resolution of 1680x1050 or higher.

I have a 19" HP Monitor that only goes up to 1440 x 900 - 60HZ.
