alice: madness returns was one of my top 10 games this gen. incredibly underrated; the disturbing story, the combat system, the well designed levels and fun platforming. if you haven't played it yet, do yourself a favor and find it cheap and experience it

"YES" the PSN is offering better quality games, but if you cancel your PLUS membership you no longer have access to the games!! So in my opinion, that kinda level things out.
It might level it out if you're the kind of person who always let's his membership expire. Me personally, I've been a Gold LIVE member for the last nine years and my membership hasn't expired in the time. Plus, if you did let your membership expire and you lost access to Assassins Creed 2 and Crackdown, it wouldn't exactly be the end of the world. You could buy physical copies for next to nothing. even if you did let your plus membership expire you still can get the games back if you decide to re-subscribe. as it stands now, games with gold is an absolutely pathetic attempt to catch up to the plus program
