I hate it when people talk **** about stuff which they can't even back it out.

I'm really sorry for you 360 fans but the PS3 is now way ahead.

NewEgg's featured item:

Amazon's top selling video game console:

fyi: PS3 sold over 3.9 million systems since the system went down to $499 on July 8 (that's only a little over 2 wks)

btw, over 60% of the reviews on the Xbox 360 who bought it were complaints (ie, defects, system incapability)

heard any complaints on the PS3?.. don't bet on it.

Xbox 360 reviews

Can you seriously think that paying:

$399 Xbox 360
$99 wireless
$199 HD-DVD
____
$697

is a better value than $499 for all the above?

Also, is the Xbox 360 helping to find cure for cancer??

No.

Folding Home > every 360 fanboy will need it.

end of discussion. pwn3d

Face it, the 360 is going down and it should be discontinued. Microsoft are developers that are trying to accomplish something that their professions are not even capable of. They need to go back in operating systems and softwares and leave the gamings to Nintendo and Sony.

"However, despite these sales figures, Microsoft's gaming division is losing money. Up to 2005, the Xbox gaming division had lost over $4 billion dollars.[85] However, Microsoft expects the console will start making money in 2008.[86] This is due to a market strategy of selling consoles below cost in order to obtain market saturation and turn a profit on software and peripherals that have a much higher profit margin.[87][88]

..good luck Microsoft, and god speed to Xbox 360.

[QUOTE="AKuMA_G0"]

XBox 360 did definitely had the worst 1st year.

"The Xbox 360 can be subject to a number of possible technical problems. Since the Xbox 360 console was released in 2005 the console gained reputation in the press in articles portraying poor reliability and relatively high failure rates.[1][2][3][4]

In the early months after the console launch Microsoft claimed in the press that failure rate was in industry average 3-5%.[5][6][7][8] However, the company has not released any official statistics on the failure rate of the console since its launch, and the company's policy is not to do so, instead focusing on a prompt solution of any technical problems arising.[9] Despite Microsoft's reticence, some retailers have reported abnormally high failure rates, with one retailer reporting a failure rate between 25-33% and another a failure rate between 30-33%. [10]

On 5 July 2007, Peter Moore published an open letter recognizing the problem and announcing 3 years warranty expansion for every Xbox 360 console that experiences the general hardware failure indicated by the three flashing red lights on the console. [11] Two weeks later, Peter Moore left Microsoft. [12] [13]"

So has anybody returned their PS3 yet for defects??

ApocalypseXIVV
