I would consider the PS3 to be a complete failure of astronomical proportions and will change the face of Sony in the console business forever. Yes the system is still young, however you don't have to be a prophet to see that the future for this thing is very bleek and grim. Sony went from number 1 to Number 3 in the console war within a brief year.

The killer is the price. Yet cows still don't understand that Sony isn't going to cut down the price of this thing enough to make a drastic change because they are already taking a considerable loss with each console sold. And with Sony losing exclusive after exclusive, what's the point of purchasing a system that's 2-3 hundred bucks more expensive than the others? A blu-ray player? I was considering buying a PS3 for that but I just purchased an XPS M1710 and it comes with a blu-ray player soo...
