So I'm a PS3 noob, and have been looking for a free solution for a about a week to get my iBook to talk to my PS3. Finally came across EyeConnect. If you wanna stream all your multimedia files, this is the way to go. It's a 30-day trial, but if you're crafty enough you can make it a permanent solution. Hope that saves people some trouble trying to get these two to play nice.
i did see something in a game informer or play magazine a few months back about the company that made sotc and ico working on a new project. they alluded to a sequel to one of those game so well see.
Seriously. It must've happened during the night. I just bought a PS3 on Sunday and come Monday, my 360 goes RROD on me. I got mine around launch and have never had any issues and all the sudden...dead. Good thing the warranty will cover it.
i vote yes. i loved this game. im not sure if i would buy it as one playthrough was enough for me and i hear the multiplayer is crap. the story is awesome though and its paced very well. some parts are more story oriented and by the time you get to the end, its all crazy action. def worth a play though.
i have the official ms cable and still get the washed out look. you can technically fix it as some tvs interpret the signal differently. the best way to compensate is two steps. 1 - change the reference levels to expanded under display in the system blade. 2 - the other thing that really helps is lowering the brightness to about 33% and turn the backlight/picture settings all the way up. it sounds like it wouid make it worse, but it def makes the colors pop more. i keep my color temp on neutral as it doesnt add any over-saturation to the mix. the colors arent gonna be as vibrant as with the component cables, but after a while youll get used to it. the increased sharpness in the picture is worth it as is the upconversion of regular dvds.
i own the tritton ax360 and love them. they hook up via optical cable and have in-line control for front, back, center and sub speakers. true surround sound. the bass rattles when cranked which creates a cool rumble effect. got em on amazon for $100.
