So today's game is the NES version of Double Dragon.

I find it odd that it's the inferior version of the game rather then the better version on the Sega Master System.

The Master System beats the NES on every possible level and won every single multiplatform battle. Why are titles that are shared by both 8 bit systems not on the stronger hardware?

I could understand when the NES was the only 8 bit system but now there's better "hardware" on the virtual console from the same era. I find it strange that the NES got the game first, if all really.

Jaysonguy

totally agree, the master system version is more faithful of the arcade.

People, it is too long the wii has been known as a shovelware console. It sickens me when titles like "Carnival Games" has over a million sales. Even "Bratz" on the DS (I dont know if its been on wii) has gotten tons of peoples attention. Why not buy QUALITY games and not last minute crap?!

So before you pick up "Ben 10" or "Horsez" please keep in mind that there is a masterpiece called Okami waiting for you.

So far, this game is as good or even better that some zelda games. In fact, it should interest you even more than Twilight Princess, because this game actually has wii-specific puzzles. The art style is twice as good as twilight princess and the puzzles are amazingly intuitive.

AT LEAST RENT THIS GAME. ZELDA FANS ESPECIALLY! THIS WAS THE GAME OF THE YEAR ON PS2! SO WHY NOT PLAY IT ON A CONSOLE THAT HANDLES IT BETTER?

totally agree, this is a real masterpiece even if you have a "pseudo-moral" to not buying port. Port or not, this game is a piece of art. Especially for Zelda fan.

Ports are fine if they are done right like Okami.

Agree, or like Resident Evil 4.

2 great games. I prefer Phantasy Star 2 over 3 but it's still a very good RPG.

Thinking about picking up a new wii game..

Many questions on okami wii..

1. How Long is it (hours)

2. What genre is it exactly?

3. Is gameplay repetitive?

4. Any bonus content/ anything that make it better in any way than the ps2 version? (besides motion controls)

5. Motion controls vs Ps2 remote, which is better?

6. Worth $40?

Yes, Ive played and Enjoyed LoZ: Wind Wakawaka

_Olimar

  1. 30-40 hours
  2. adventure a la Zelda
  3. no, lot of different things to do
  4. no
  5. never played the PS2 version, but the motion is very cool
  6. absolutely

From what I read, this game is far to be finish, so I can say this is a good beginning. For now the graphic are already better tha Medal of Honor. And if the the control is as good as MP3 and MoHH2, with a good online mode, I'll waiting for it for sure.
