With multiplats. Sure it'll be fine. Exclusives aren't the only games.

Nothing is going to save Nintendo at this point. They'll just do w/e they have to in order to maintain profitability.
So, basically, the console war is over. If they cut the XBone's price any lower, we'd have to call it DinklageBone and it didn't even take a 100k lead... or a 10th of thereof??
REKT! So fuckin REKT!
It outsold the PS4 by 400k. Unless you were expecting the erasing of a 1.2 million deficit I dunno how this could be seen as anything other than positive.
Whoah, there's like three or four sources saying three different things. 400K being the high ball. Maybe not so rekt, but still not evaporating the previous two months leads. All in all, I still hold to my original call. XBone price bomb really seems to hurt Nintendo more than anyone.
You can put it to 300-400k. It still a hefty victory. No system besides the GBA has done 1.2 million in it's second November. It would be completely unreasonable to expect the X1 to evaporate months worth of sales in a single one. This is a big gain for MS, no doubt about it.
Frankly I think what hurt Nintendo is that they exhausted their sales potential at $300 9 months ago. They aren't staying at that price to sell units, its to maintain profitability.

Thank you.
You can only become a huge consumer product business in this world.. If you have American sales.
If you don't sell well in America. You're not Huge. Downsizing is and will be in order.
If you sell well in America as a gaming company. You have nothing to worry about. The games will come by the shitloads.
48% World market share on purchasing power forces this.
Realistically yes, but you can be wildly successful while not being huge in the US too.
For gaming though, NA is an important market for several reasons.
and what is numbers for world wide?
I wanna know this as well. Regional sales numbers don't mean shit. Worldwide a.k.a. total sales are all that matter.
America is like that Pie chart when it comes to sales yearly. Kinda important.
Regional sales mean nothing. Total worldwide sales are all that matter.
Region sales matter. Especially US sales. Because many devs are based in NA and make games focused and appealing to Western and especially NA taste, a system doing well in that territory is attractive to put their titles on. That's why you wanna do well in the territory that major titles are developed.
By a whopping 7 to 10 K if that is true damn MS really has problems...
Closer to 400k actually
Where the **** is captain toad?
Yeah, after posting that I read other posts saying the same and thought WHAT... THE... ****.
That's just ridiculous. I figured Finalstar was doing his typical "I'm not thinking logically, but Sony for life!" type deal at first, but wow...
Capcom must be doing some immensely stupid shit to have problems funding something as critically and commercially viable as Street Fighter.
No part of me actually believes that SF is having funding problems. It's a laughable proposition. I think Capcom management is stupid but they aren't this stupid. Something else is going on. It's fucking not possible for CC to tell me that can't sell 2 million copies of SF5 across 3 platforms when the last title did 8 million across all iterations.
He might not be wrong. Capcom wasn't giving Ono money for Street Fighter 5, Capcom is under the impression they can't get 2 million easy out of SF5, as I imagine some of their other fighting games did not do gangbusters, especially with the shady shit they tried to tie in. In a lot of ways it does sound like Sony is helping fund the game, much like Bayonetta 2, and in another way kind of like Titanfall.
Whether or not Super Street Fighter 5 is exclusive is up for debate, but general wording of what was said on stage and the press release gives you the impression that Sony is helping with the funding of the game. The PC version is probably something that was negotiated.
Capcom is honestly fucking stupid. Street Fighter 4 sold 3.3 million in vanilla form last gen. Over all iterations it's probably well over 5 million. In what world would a new SF game not be able to reach 2 million? This is like the one franchise where they absolutely should not have made it exclusive. But from what we know, Finalstar is on the right track. It's just that Capcom are fucking dumb.
To an extent, but I also think someone at Capcom is smart enough to know the value of Street Fighter to pony it off.
See, this is what I think is happening. I can't really believe that SF isn't a viable franchise for them. Everything points in the other direction. I think they know that the brand is premier for fighters and if they only have to develop for one console while saving on dev costs it's better than fully funding it themselves and for 2 systems. It's still dishonesty though, the brand is top 3 for them financially with RE and Monster Hunter.
