okay so i just bought my first ps3 (a slim) but i already had a psn account for my psp. So the users thing is that the same as like a psn account and if so how do i "sign in"

okay so i bough a used ps3. i hooked it all up and put my tv to the right video input thing. But when i turn on the ps3 the screen flashes and reads that something is there but like the title says i have no audio or video

im not trading my 360 just the game is for 360

i am going to buy a ps3 and two things have come to my attention. i could either buy a third hand ps3(person bought used from eb around 2 weeks ago) and UfC for 230 dollars and prince of persia for 360. Or a second hand 3 month old console with resistance fall of man for 250 dollars. What do you guys thihnk and why both are 80 gig
