Well I was planning on picking up a Wii as soon as I could when it came out, but now, I'm sort of starting to doubt. I mean, they released a list of Virtual Console titles for the year, and quite frankly, it sucks. Not to mention the hefty price tag for games I can pick up for like 10 cents in the local game shop. And the fact that there is no HD also annoys me. Especialy since I'm investing in a new HD by the end of the year. I'll still get one don't get me wrong, but I don't know if it is the right console for me to take the plunge into the next gen yet. Also, the games being released soon around launch also don't interest me, except for, obviously, Twilight Princess. So at the moment the 360 is starting to take the cake with the HD, slimmer price tag than PS3, whole package of sexiness, and the games for sure, Dead Rising, DOA Xtreme 2 (I know I'm a loser!), Gears of War, FEAR, and many many more. So to put that in simpler terms for you all: I'm undecided on which console to get to take the plunge into the next gen with first, it is between a 360 or a Wii.

So Halloween is comming up, what's everyone doing for it? My friend is having a small get together at his house and we are gonna watch some choice horror flics. So far we got Land of the Dead, Saw, 28 Days Later, and my personal favorite Dawn of the Dead. We are also going to play the king of all zombie games, Zombies Ate My Neighbors for the SNES. Well the new Saw movie is comming out around this Halloween, is anyone fans of the series? I really like them, they are close to my favorite movies next to the Dead series. This installment looks even gorier, and scarier than the others. (Is that possible? :lol: ) Can not wait until it comes out, got excited about it today and decided to do some art for it, made a new blog banner for it. Tell me what you think. I found some really good brushses that just looked wonderful with the pic of the Jigsaw doll I used as my base. Thoughts?

Well I'm a huge fan of UFC and both of these fighters, and their match ups were excellent. They simply hate each other which makes them all the more intersting and tonight was their final fight. It ended quick, again, and I'm not suprised that Tito won via knock out on Ken. I can't say I'm surprised, but I was really pully for Ken since he was a huge underdog. Needless to say Tito took him out in about 2:30. At least he lasted longer than last time, which I spent 50 bucks on to see on pay-per-view, but this one was free. And what really surprised me was how they finaly burried the hatchet and congratualted each other instead of the usual trash talking and complaining and stuff. And it looks like Ken is finaly going to retire. And he is a true warrior and a legend and hall of famer in the UFC, the World's Most Dangerous Man, Ken Shamrock.

But what I really can't wait for is this December, for the light heavy weight title, Tito takes on the Ice Man Chuck Liddell (my favorite fighter) for the belt. Oh I'm so excited, now THAT I will slap down 50 bucks in a heart beat for!

Anyone else UFC fans?

Well, that about wraps it up for this years TGS. And what a surprise [insert sarcasm] Capcom shows nothing on RE. Absolutly N O T H I N G. Well I can't say I didn't see this one coming. I guess if they were to show anthing RE it would have taken away from their other games like DMC4 and stuff. But hey theres always next year or the next show. And am I the only one who thinks TGS is starting to seem more like a gimmicky trade show that really doesn't do much as far as games go? Oh well, tell me what you think about TGS this year.

So how is everyone feeling about this years TGS so far? Geared up for night number two starting in a little bit here?

So far I am sort of disappointed but happy at the same time. It was a jubilee of news and mixed reactions, but lets hope night two and three are even better. And I leave you with the best of the booth babes!

Well we all know this year marks the 10th anniversery of out beloved gaming series Resident Evil ;) ! Well Capcom is taking full advantage of us collectors and fans, by releasing everything they can for the 10th anniveresery. My wallet has already taken a big hit from preordering the Figures and Stamps, but now they are releasing a 10th anniversery edition game, which according to EBGames.com, will include RE, RE0, and RE4 (all for GC). But what if they add extras?! Or some kind of sweet art cell or something? I don't know we will have to wait and see, but I need some cash, and I need it fast to get this in my hands when it comes out! For those who don't know I have two loves in life and they are Airsofting, and Resident Evil. So what's better than mixing the two? I am about to order a new Gas Blow Back side arm and have decided on the beatiful RE Samurai Edge replica. It's your average GBB so performance wise it will do fine, but look at the wonderful craftsman ship:

It is going to set me back anywhere from 125-200 USD, but that isn't too bad, they all cost in that area pretty much. At least I'm not getting the Barry model which is about to sell on Ebay for close to 500! If anyone is interested, I can get pics of my primary, just ask. Disclaimer: I have not ordered this yet, I am going to once I get a bit more cash. I will post pics of it when I receive it.

We are all waiting for them, but we don't really know what they will be like or virtualy any details about them. But now I'm gonna throw in my two cents about these two games, first I'll ramble on about RE Wii.

RE Wii:

OK, so this one is even more mysterious than RE5, but here is what we DO know:

-EB Games says it is being released on March 30th, 2007. (This doesn't mean squat considering what EB Games knows)

-Development hsa been underdevelopment since sometime before E3.

-It will utilize the Wii's motion sensing functions.

-It is "a new game in the Resident Evil franchise" as stated by Capcom, and hasn't been demed a spin-off or a canon story, it also doesn't appear to be a remake, although I wouldn't be surprised.

-We all heard about the infamous Leon silhouete in the ONM UK magazine, and heard that they debunked it as not really insinuating Leon in the game, but later an admin at that site, said it did infact mean Leon has something to do with RE Wii, but this is all to scetchy to really believe, we will wait to see.

Now I'm gonna give you my opinion on what RE Wii will be. First off, I really don't think RE Wii will be a Gun Survivor, the other ones were just so bad and sold so little that Capcom has learned their lesson about these and I doubt they would make another for the Wii. I also wouldn't be surprised if it was another remake, perhaps of RE2? But this raises the question of how they can use the controller. I also wouldn't be surprised if the game was an RE 3.5 or RE 4.5, or has anyone thought about a sequel to RE5? That would be excellent. But all and all we will just have to wait and see. That is all of just what I think will happen, not truth to is at all.

Now onto RE 5, first, again, what we do know:

-Expected to be released before March 31st, 2007. According to Capcom's investor realtions page. And was announced on July 20th 2005.

-Staff members who worked on RE1, RE2, and Onimusha will be working on RE5.

-The game will be a full sequel and take place after RE4, and will be a major turning point in the series.

-The game will have undisclosed online features.

-Speculated to be playable at the Tokyo Game Show.

-The main character has not been confirmed, but developers have hinted by saying it is a character they are very fond of, most worked on RE1 so Chris Redfield is an obvious candidate. Not to mention the reseblace. Billy Cohen and HUNK have also been specualted as the character.

-It is rumored to be a true sequel to Code Veronica (YAY!).

Now here is what I think it gonna happen, Chris will be the main character and those super zombies will be esaily explained. They are most likely plagas/t-virus hybrid zombies, but that is just my point of view. I think the game is going to have a final showdown between Chris and Wesker, and yada yada you know what happens. I hope all of my speculation isn't the case for this one because I would really like a big surprise for this game.

Well that is my rant of the week, so lets here what you all think about RE Wii and RE5.

OK, now I can't be the only one wondering if Capcom is ever going to release another Resident Evil DS game. Now, to me it isn't ARE they going to release one, but when will they, and hopefuly how many more will they. With recent rumors floating the net about RE2 for DS, I have began speculating and thinking about ideas for the game. First of all, there better be upadted graphics, and having the option of chosing between Claire and Leon is a must. But what if Capcom released 2 versions of the game, one with Claire on it and one with Leon, this way they could jampack better graphics, gameplay ideas and length to two seperate carts instead of downgrading things in an effort to fit the game on one cart. Also we should also get updated graphics, similar to the upgraded level of RE DS, or maybe better. Reference pic:

So as you can see from the pictures, the DS version is basicaly on par with the PS1 version. This means we could probably expect alittle improvement on the PS1 graphics for RE2. If they make the 2 seperate carts then we could expect drastic improvement on the PS version of RE2. Gameplay could basicaly be the same, add some new puzzles weapons and areas and we have a good remake/port of the original. RE2 is my favortie RE game of all time so the rumor of RE2 for DS has got me so excited and I personaly can't wait if this is true. Well thats my rant on RE2 for DS, for all I know it might not even be comming to DS, but there is that slight hope of it, I know RE fans everywhere would rejoice if Capcom released it though. ;)
