@CarlitosWay @Adavanter Hey I don't blame ya. I'm skeptical of anything anymore. Look at SWTOR. It cost over 200 million and ended up being an average MMO with a lot of VO that got old fast...
@Random_Matt @LADIES_MAN_2013 They've warned everyone from the start this game is going to push machines. Hundreds of insanely detailed fighters and massive fully detailed inside and out cruisers and carriers...
@CarlitosWay @Adavanter This is true but it was already well underway before the support came flooding in. We were getting a fairly sizable game at 2 million. I can't imagine 18 million more in support.
@CarlitosWay Look at it this way. The more money they get that more guaranteed it's going to not only get made but made extremely well. 20 million is an epic price tag. That's getting into triple A price tags of last gen... With no middle man.
@Evil__Homer Yeah sadly in this very article it's more relevant to bring up they are the studio that made portal than it is Half-Life. Which to us old gamers just seems wrong. They will always be the house that Half-Life built IMO.
@Iddhi That and the way they approach the entire online service is better than what Microsoft had planned. Not only that we already know steams games span many different generations/hardware and wont pull support once a new system comes out...
