Monopolies almost never stay that way for very long, so no, eventually there will not be only one console.

Love how the fanboys on here believe themselves to be above that title and any bias they might have, but when making comments about missing shadows they call out Bungie and their game and blame it on weak hardware. Maybe if they took the time to learn that shadows in game from vehicles were all still being rendered properly, and this is most likely a case of dynamic lighting, the weather shifting (clouds) or a bug.

Here's a comparison someone from the Bungie forums made, between Reach's graphics now, and the first trailer we were given.

Instead of releasing a PS4 and a Xbox ____, Sony and MS just upgrade the hardware in today's current consoles ? I believe Nintendo would most likely bring forth a whole new console, but it seems that with the PS3 and Xbox 360's sales now just breaking 40 million, a hardware revision makes sense. Unless bringing forth a new console, with a new name, helps with sales ?

How can most of you be rooting for Halo Reach? Come on, every halo game nowadays looks the same. Therefore i'm not excited for this one. So i'll have to say Call of Duty: Black Ops even though they look like they're copying Infinity War. Both of these games look the same so i'll be looking forward to other better games this year even though i'll probably play both of these games anyways.

You should keep yourself updated on the current information for upcoming games, you look retarded by saying something like that. If you had said you don't like what Halo Reach is bringing to the table and what Bungie has changed for the series, then that would sound a little bit more educated.

TF2 and Counter Strike: Source are some of the most played non-MMO online games. Both very fun in their respective ways.

[QUOTE="General_X"]I can hardly justify paying $15 a month for a game, when a game I bought for $20 way back when (TF2 for example) offers me just as many hours of enjoyment and I only had to pay for it once. Also I have an addictive personality and MMO's are designed to prey on my weakness :(trijity

I think MMO price tags can be fine, and truthfully save some people money. I got a buddy who spends $60+ every 2 weeks on singleplayer games etc. only to beat them in 3 days...whereas if you do get into an MMO, you generally just don't wanna play anything else. Thereby the $15 a month is better than the $100+ some people do on other games....least this is one way to rationalize it.

You're friend doesn't sound very smart. Not only are you able to save 50%-60% on a purchase by waiting for one of Steams weekend deals, but there are so very few quality single player games coming out at all right now, it makes me wonder the kind of garbage video games your friend buys.

Anyway, the problem with MMO's is that most of them aren't even a complete package in comparison to let's say, World of Warcraft, that your only real option is WoW. And the thing about WoW is that it's endgame PVE content has simply turned into a grind for the next best purple, while having to deal with a lot of **** day in and day out. Making it almost feel like a job just to play the game and stay on top. And I typically play my games for fun and to chill back (Team Fortress 2, CS:S mods).

Why isn't the list been updated yet ? It's been months since the 400 series has been released.
