Because Mater chief is still alive and stranded on some planet, perhaps the story for a possible halo 4 could be about getting rescued somehow. I heard also there are other survivors with Master cheif, one or two I think. PErhaps the missions could be about exploring the planet, finding ways of possible rescue, other life forms, unravelling some hidden secret. Kinda sounds lame lol but if there was to be a continuation of the events of halo 3 than it would probably have to be something like this.

Oblivion was incredible, I can't believe you didn't like it, I know that there are major glitches which really bring down the game, but it's still amazing.xXTalismanXx
I did like it quite a lot, but I just thought it wasn't quite worth the praise it received
I agree with your views exactly djones5, a part from gta 4..haven't played it yet so I can't really give an opinion.
KOTOR, Golden Sun, any Legend of Zelda game, Oblivions fairly good and I hate to say it but WoW..lol.Oh and Pokemon back in its day was pure bliss...still good but I've moved on.
Not sure if its a RPG but Diablo 2 as well
Probably forgotten a few
Don't get me wrong Oblivion is a very good game, but im not sure its worth the 9.6 GS gave it. I reckon its worth about a 8.5 to 9.0. For a game to deserve a score of 9.6 it should be pretty much flawless but Oblivion has its fare share of flaws imo. Firstly constant loading screens, bearable at first but quickly become annoying, everytime you enter a house, leave a house, travel, wait etc. Huge world but mostly empty. The towns are interesting but when you venture into the wilderness, you may find the occasional cave etc, nothing of that much interest. Glitchy, the amount of glitches is remarkable, read any Oblivion guide on gamefaqs and you'll hear about the many glitches to be aware of. I've encountered a few myself, gaurds attacking me for absolutely no reason, getting bounties even though the crime you committed wasn't seen at all, gaurds appearing out of nowhere. There was one instance when a gaurd was appearing deep in a cave, the quest required you to trespass into a basement. Quests that just won't work at all, only encountered one so far but it just happenes to be the quest to get rid of vampirism, I've consulted many guides and are doing everything as required but yet the witch still won't accept my grand soul gems, because of this im now stuck as a vampire which is a seroius pain sometimes. The gameplay is fairly bland imo, press attack and you do a weapon thrust, become expert in blade and you get an extra two variations yay. Most spells require a large amount of mana, meaning for the first 10 to 15 levels or so you are restricted to a small amount of boring spells. Cool to use but nothing like the spells you can do in games such as WoW.
The main quest is fairly short and not all that great, not bad, but I found myself wanting to finish it just to get it over with, rather than being genuinely excited about the story. The aid for bruma quest is probably the worst part imo, close the gates for each town, practically the exact same thing for each town. The oblivion portals are nearly identical, just a different variation of opening a gate, destroying the sigil stone. Each building that cases the sigil stone are exactly the same in each oblivion plain, kind of lazy on the games developers if you ask me. Plus there are only four or five different types of enemies that come out of the plains.
I have enjoyed playing Oblivion but at times it can be boring and often frustrating, a great game, but not worthy of the high score its been given by many. Your thoughts?
The moment I reached level 70 in WoW...such a sweet moment..lasted about 3 seconds, than I began to wonder "now what"?
The music in the menu screen of halo 3 is kind of sad other than that nothing comes to mind atm
The other day I tried to play a level on Cod 4 and it wouldn't let me. The xbox 360 came up with the error message that the disc was unreadable. I checked my COD 4 disc to discover a few circular scratches, not deep or anything, but noticable, and a lot of little scratches. Im always really carefull when handling the CD, and I haven't moved the xbox360 whilst it was on. So what the hell is going on? When I play Cod4 multiplayer I get a like a faint clicking noise coming from the xbox 360, I wonder if somehow the 360 is making contact with the CD. I have two other games and those discs are pretty good condition, but COD 4 looks terrible.
Im fairly annoyed, work endlessly for overpriced games $110.00 (au) only to have them rendered unplayable. Your thoughts? Suggestions? Possilbe causes? Any help would be appreciated
I kind have a similar problem, sometimes SP games can feel isolated when compared to playing MP with real people etc. I use to never play MP, but once I started it became addictive. I still like SP though, but I usually spend more time in a games MP.
Both are great games with great online. Cod 4 has a better ranking system imo, it feels more rewarding, everytime you play you are rewarded for your time and effort, where as Halo 3 you can play really well but still fall a few kills short and miss out on exp and a ranking. Sometimes in team slayer you can be let down by a few players in your team who suck. Im not saying im that super great either but yeah it can happen, and does quite often.
I like the levelling system in Cod 4, it makes more worthwhile do unlock new weapons and perks. Its also great how Cod 4 keeps tally of kills, wins etc. You view them straight away in the barracks, you can also check out how you stack again your friends and the rest of the world on the leaderboards. With Halo 3 you have to go to bungie.net, and its pretty hard to compare yourself to other players.
Cod 4 probably requires less skill imo, if your good at aiming, and have quick reactions you stand a good chance of getting some kills. Halo 3 takes longer to kill your opponents, except for swat mode, not always requiring more skill, but some some skill is needed in knowing where the best weapons are, for sticking, weak points etc. Halo 3 also lets you use any weapon you find as well as vehicles, in Cod 4 there aren't vehicles and you always start with the weapon of your class.
So to answer your question, both offer a different multiplayer experience, both with good and bad points, but both really good
