[QUOTE="Agent_Mac47"]No, like I said I have got the AX Pro hooked up to my tv with the optical cable so there for I can switch between my Xbox and tv by just changing channels on the tv and I was asking if I could do that with the Warhead because if I could then it's not really Xbox 360 exclusive is it as I would be able to use it with other console and hopefully the new Xbox when it comes out eventually by just changing the HDMI channel on the tv? I only have the Xbox 360 anyway and I am happy with my AX Pro but one of the cups has snapped off, gotta keep taping it up I've also had it a few years now, looking to buy a new Tritton headset (don't like Turtle Beach and I've never used Astro) I know true 5.1 surround sound is better than virtual 7.1 but by how much? A lot? Not alot?HadOne2ManyI just got my Warheads last week, they sound way better than my old AX360s (true 5.1). As far as your question about connecting them directly to your TV, that would work just fine for sound, but you aren't going to be able to use the mic on anything but a 360 no matter how you connect it. It syncs up to the console just like the official wireless mic. So the Warhead probably sounds a lot better than the AX Pro? What is the positional sound like with the Warhead? I know it won't be as good as the AX Pro but I am willing to choose better sound quality over a little loss of positional sound.

So say I buy the Warhead 7.1 over the Pro+ true 5.1 what would I miss out on? Will I still hear the enemies footsteps before they realise it's too late and will I hear everything in the game environment that I wouldn't hear from a tv speaker? See I am really happy with the Tritton Pros because I know first hand how good they sound but if I buy the Warhead I dont wanna be disappointed if the sound isnt as good as the Pros.Remember real 5.1 will be better for positional audio, but stereo means bigger drivers and better quality.
