It depends: Let's sat someone does not like to date firls unless he finds them attracitive. Well, that itself is not Racism. Let's say that the general looks of one particular race do not appeal to him. I would not consider that racism.
Hwoever, if he refuses to date them simply because they are not his race, and no other reason, I might consider it racism.
I am posting on Gamespot right now. Disprove that.Schwah
For all I know, this computer I'm looking at could be a mere hallucination of my mind, or the one you're apparently staring at (keyboard included) could be a mere hallucination of your mind.
Well just for fun let's bring Descartes into this. Descartes famous phrase in it's revised form reads, "I think, I exist." Note that he is not putting any qualifiers on his existance, just stating that in some form or another he exists. Thoughts?
I can't really prove heyyou91's existence. However if my existence is absolute by that quote, I suppose it contradicts my original statement, however, it raises this question in my head; "Why does thought prove existence?".
[QUOTE="Agustin_Barrios"] Well...I've read your posts...and I'm somewhat intimidated to disagree with you, but you might change my opinion, so here it goes:
I just simply don't believe it is possible to completely and absolutely prove anything. There are always nonfalsifiable arguements to contradict what is apparently being stated.

I wasn't trying to contradict you, I just thought it was a very bold opinion and worth looking into.
I'm inclined to agree with you in part, especially since arguments (weak as they may be)can be made to cast doubt on the very existence of self. Even Decartes "Cogito, ergo sum" has some detractors.
And also, I have a few Miles Davis CDs and my favorite piece by him is "Milestones". Needless to say, I like your avatar.
