Depends how old-school you can stand. In the original Red/Blue you can't run and some of the Pokemon we've come to know and love look...mangled, I suppose. I play it mainly for the nostalgia (151 seemed like such an easy amount to remember). I would recommend FireRed/LeafGreen though. My absolute favourite was Gold on the GBC though.
I had to think about this. PSX-era Final Fantasy could beat all of the Tales of series. But Tales of Symphonia was one of the best RPGs I've ever played. Tough call.
I personally found it very meh. The gameplay is nice, the graphics are charming, but the sheer amount of repetition and the pace of the game is incredibly tedious. Dark Chronicle was so much better.
Loving my MacBook Pro. Been the best purchase I've made, computing-wise, for a while. Only just recently discovered that Ruby is pre-installed on Mac too. Go into terminal and type "irb" and you're away.
