I think the series is done. There isn't that much of a marketplace for it. The only reason people played it was because it came bundled for free with xbox live.
Most of the mgs series was released on the xbox, so I see it as easily believable. That won't bring ppl to 360 though, as MGS lovers will still get their ps3 to play it. So really, there would be no harm done to Sony, and Konami would just make more $.
Its not just the money, its the satisfaction of building and creating your own computer. It is like working on your own car. You feel so damn cool because you aren't paying a mechanic, even though they could possibly do it faster, and for a little $.
What should I suspect from the next generation of graphic cards in terms of power consumption? I am hoping that they don't surpass the monster consumers of this gen (i.e. 2900xt 1gb).
on the subject of the 8800GT, i'm about to update my graphics card in order to run...........you guessed it............crysis... and need a bit of advice. I can either get a normal 8800GT for £180, an oveclocked 8800GT for £190 OR an overclocked BFG8800 GTS 640MB from ebay which is currently at £160 but will probably go up to 180+
is it worth me paying a bit more for an OC'd 8800GT or if the GTS remains under £190 should i go for that.
any advice greatly appreciated

8800 GT 512 is alot more powerful then the 640/320 versions.. 8800 GT OCed> 8800 GT >>>>> 8800 GTS 640mb..
Exactly, but newegg has the evga 320 8800gts for $220 right now, and that makes it a great buy for the money. You can also use the stepup program to move to the 9 series later with some extra $.
COD4, AREA:51, REsistance, Half-life 2, etc etc, people love shooters... Agamespotingboy
Well, all of those are on 360, except Resistance, and 360 has mass effect, Gears, and Halo 3. Hmm, also, I hope you mean Orange Box when you say Half-Life 2, because that's not Half-Life 2, its just a small portion of the story. Also, Area 51 sucks, and Resistance flopped.
