yes but you have to buy two things 1)male-male 1/8 inch cable 2) 1/8 to 1/4 inch converter
each sould be like $3

I'm thinking about getting this game as soon as it comes out, but i wanted to know if there's any way of connecting my DS to an amplifier to play LOUD MUSIC with my DS...

I've been a resort manager (Hotel) for 3 years now and I've never had problem connecting my DS to our connection and neither have mycolleagues with their DS.Oh, and we don't charge for Wi-Fi. So i really don't know what the problem with your DS is.
