Treating it as a separate experience is the best way to treat any co-op experience. I mean, integrating it in single player only causes problems for solo play rather than just letting a second player drop in any time they feel like in the solo mode. Treating it as a separate experience just makes it a nice bonus. It's what made Splinter CEll, Rainbow Six, and even Saints Row games.
@MAXAM999 They're the only studio that was willing to purchase the IP. Logically, since it was such a popular title, they'd use that to boost sales of the Wii U. Nintendo's no saint, but it's not the devil you make it out to be, either; it isn't as if they went out of their way to ensure it becomes an exclusive.
@tokyorules It is at times, but very few women seem to have a problem with her. In fact, I read some comments by women stating she was empowering. After all, she basically uses sex themes as a monster killing weapon. So I don't think this is as big an issue as it seems. Especially since it was done creatively.
