I just looked up my credit card statement today :(...:cry:and I'm surprised no-one has mentioned printer ink yet, the quantity is not much for a single cartridge of any color and it cost more than a set of color inks in art supplies store.

That's why you buy a laser printer if you're doing anything more than the odd sheet or two, or atleast a business printer. I know for a fact that Lexmark is only profitable because of the cartridge price, it's cheaper to buy a new printer which in cludes ink usually than just a new cartridge.

Yea, which is why printer ink price is so **** unreasonable. For your advice, thanks and I'll try look for it.

I can't help but think that this thread is a bit silly. Prices reflect the cost of bringing goods/services to the market or how much people are willing to pay.

There's reason that this thread called "unreasonable price"...Would you rather pay for something expensive or something cheap that does the same purpose with same quality?

I'm not sure what your point is. I get the feeling that you are trying to refute my post. The part that i bolded in your post, is kinda the point I'm getting at. In most cases there is a substitute good that performs as good as others at a lower price. So it is silly to complain that say, this brand of jeans is too expensive, when you can get generic jeans at a much lower cost. Often times generic brand stuff is priced due to cost of production. At some point the margins get too small, and producing the good is no longer worth it, if being sold at too low a price.

Nah, I'm not trying to refute your post, just stating the concept of unreasonable price. This is really debatable, not just cost of production even the brand name itself can be a factor of effecting profit margins and the price in the market with a good advertisement, products like these sold at a high price probably because the brand name is just too popular and It becomes a advantage and eventually the price becomes unreasonable if the name's worth keeps increasing. For me I look for quality, not the brand (Maybe cars but I'm fine with the one I'm driving for now.) brand mostly are targeted to materialistic customers.

This is defintely another one.

Eh, it's a trade off. Printers are cheap as ****. In fact, it's cheaper sometimes if you can just find deals on printers that come with ink included, and just keep buying new printers.

I wouldn't really think It's a trade off when I use my printer very often for a long time and...keep buying printers just for the sake of ink...:?...Also, I never knew that kind of deal exist, ink bundled printer on sale is cheaper than the ink itself.

Read the manga for dragonball if you don't want to miss anything, anime just takes too long to finish, then go for DBZkai.

So yeah, anything that does not deserve/worth that kind of price in your opinion, doesn't matter if it's too cheap or too expensive (I guess people mostly go for the expensive one), just "does it really worth it?" Anyways, what's on your mind?

These are what I have for now:

-Bus ticket/Monthly Pass

-Car insurance

-Energy Drinks

-Apple stuff

-Microsoft OS/Office

-Adobe/Autodesk softwares

-59.99$ PC games from EA/Activision

-Some other commission fees

Happy April Fools

Hate partying, clubbing and crowd, I rather just drive up to a hill and take a nap and enjoy the silent and quiet around myself, that's my paradise. Yes, I like being alone...
