I don't mean that I want to be prepared in terms of actual gameplay, just a vague background knowledge of the back story running up to the game that I'm going to play, so I know who the main characters are etc. because with a story mode driven game, I always enjoy it more if I feel an immersion in the narrative Walkthroughs are good if you playing the game, but for the example of the Resident Evil series, I'm looking for a brief summary of the first four games and the stories of the games, not a detailed 'go through the door on your left and there will be some handgun ammo' style walkthrough guideRead the walkthroughs for each game
Gamefaq is the place to go
That way you know the ins and outs of the game too, these sites that just tell you the story are crap. They don't prepare you for p-laying the next game in the series

Only way to put music on your xbox hard drive is via ripping CDs, so you'd have to burn your playlist to CD first them rip them onto your Xbox Hard Drive, which is long and tedius. I just use a 4GB memory stick which cost about 6 quid, and can fit a couple of hundred songs on, and use it as a portable device on the Xbox and play the tunes through the media player. You can't transfer them to your Xbox hard drive, but it's a lot easier than making loads of CDsSo guys i have an external hdd 160gb.. is there anyway i could make a playlist for the xbox? since when i try saving it in the xbox it says i need to rip it but my xbox hdd is only 20gb so i can't really use it for it :( so could there be a way if i make a playlist on the windows media player or something ?

I hate games like MW2 that just make you more prone to dying at harder difficulties. It's quite a chore. I think a game should have a good balance when it comes to difficulty. It has to be about fun and enjoyment, not chores. I think Assassin's Creed 2 does a good job of this. The game is challenging but not impossible and it offers you a way to enjoy the time you put into it. In most shooters, you feel obligated to go through it on veteran or the hardest mode to "complete" it or to get achievements which I hate.wwervinAgree completely, haven't come across any recently but games that instead of making the AI more intelligent on harder difficulties, just give them more health or strength, or diminish your health or strength
Believe me I tried whilst we were playing, but as we'd be through a few cans, I just got jumbled up responses about umbrellas, surgeons and everyone in the game was out to get you. The latter of which, turned out to be quite trueWait, why don't you ask your friend?

Cheers for the link, the retrospectives are done really well, shame it's only for a few titles, but good none the lessGametrailers do some good video retrospectives for some of the larger game franchises:
