Joking, right? The whole freakin game is one big cheatcode :P..that nanosuit is all you need...putting god mode on will simply take whatever fun is left away.
I am a guy with a cave-men era video card :P I thought playing Crysis on low (although with good fps) would be miserable. How freakin wrong i was. After an hour of gameplay i forgot my own f*cking name :lol: The fact that my rig cant max it or play it on medium with good fps simply faded away. I barely quit the game just to make a post here. YOU WONT REGRET BUYING THIS GAME. Its a huge step from Far Cry, although yeah, they share some similiarities.
Get Crysis, its the best shooter...and if you have a high end video card..well, the game will probably impress you even more. I play it on low and still think it tops even the Orange Box (which i was able to max out with smooth fps).
Everything was fine for me except the action. Guns are too weak and you have a hard time getting the aim on your enemy. I think the game would have worked better with a third person view and. I am comparing it to something like Unreal Tournament 2004 or FEAR. There you have total control over your weapons and you feel it. In Stalker its a lot like 'spray and pray'..early in the game anyway. It is realistic in a way..and at the same time unbelievably uncomfortable to play. Environments are awesome and so is everything else really. EXCEPT the combat. Thats just my opinion. The combat isnt so bad that you cant play the game, because i did go through it once, it just isnt on par with other shooters in terms of gameplay. If this was not an issue and the bugs were fixed, this game would definitely get editors chocie from gamespot. But it didnt.
ElectricNZ, you wont get far in this life insulting people directly because of your own ignorance. What i say is my opinion; thats what we do here, speak our mind, not bark like dogs at eachother. You will find many people do not share your views or ideas, and you have to learn to accept that. This isnt the place for me to play daddy, but it seems you really need a little lecturing, if life hasnt taught you yet on how to communicate politely.
There is nothing wrong with the graphics. If the whole "beta demo" is not a lie, than the final release might even be a little better. I think i'l be getting it anyway. The effects are what sucks..they never introduced destructible environments..bringing walls down with a rocket launcher - only seems logical. I guess thats why they called it "Unreal" huh? The freaking walls and ground just wont break no matter what you hit them with..
Its a bit early to say this maybe, but it looks like Crysis is going to totally outsell UT. That is, if it isnt optimized like crap. Not everyone has the newest hardware.
