Setzer's done, I got a fourth Economizer, and now I'm leveling Relm. I have a bit more to do with her in terms of spell-learning, but with the amazing equipment I gave her, she should be able to hold her own.

Umaro's out of the way, and now I'm working on Setzer. His level is in the low 40's, and he's in the process of learning Life 3. My goal is to have him finished by tonight. After that, I'll train Relm, Strago, and Gau, and then it's off to Kefka's Tower.

Today I finished leveling Shadow. I should probably point out that I'm leveling these characters only so far until they learn all the healing spells (Cure/2/3, Life/2/3, Remedy, etc.), Flare, Ultima, and Pearl. I also equip the Exp. Egg on them for double EXP Points. By the time they've learned these spells, they're usually at Level 55. I plan to use Umaro next, but only to level, since he can't learn magic.

Today I continued leveling my characters in Final Fantasy VI in preparation for the final battle with Kefka. I finished with Locke just moments ago, and now I'm working with Shadow. I'm hoping to get a few more Economizers so that my spells only cost 1 MP. I'm not sure how long it will take, but when I've finished leveling, I'll take on Kefka.
