It's not overrated it just may not be your cup of tea.

If you want an awesome FPS, Bioshock isn't it. I wouldn't even count it as an FPS. Bioshock is closer to a resident evil FPS RPG Hybrid. It sounds like the people who didn't like it are types who didn't get into the story and that's fine. Some folks like their games less immersive and more like a game. COD4 is a great game but I would hardly call it a great story or immersive like Bioshock.

If you ran through the game like Halo, shooting everything in sight, yeah I bet it would get pretty boring. But if you took your time and explored you found yourself sucked into this world and the characters in it.

LOL.... you didn't get it? How could you not?

Anyway, you, were brainwashed by the guy who seems to be helping you through the game.... you have been his puppet the entire time without knowing it..... the trigger word is "Would you please..." You'll notice that whenever he asks you to do something throughout the game he says "would you please..." before he "asks" you.

Oh and the plane crash was caused by you.... the package you had on the plane was a bomb.

Wow... i cant believe i missed that.. and its would you kindly not please lol ... i thought he was just being nice lol and anyway, what does he want from me exactly ?? why would want me to get into rapture?? (im so messed up i know lol)

No tmuch of a storyline in this game, that pretty much sums it all up, excep that chick and her kids that you kill or rescue, to give you a good or bad ending to the game which is a 30 second video clip with no connections to the entire game.

Yeah good call, not much of a story at all. Nevermind the game of the year awards or countless fans who love the game primarily for the story and immersion into Ryan's crazed world. Yup, 9 out of 10 games are this good and have stories that people still talk about over a year after the game is released. This is just your run of the mill game. /end sarcasm

I think I played my brothers copy of Assassin's creed for like an hour and decided then and there that I wouldn't waste my money buying it. Probably a good rental though.

What really sucks is that it COULD have been sooooo good. It had a great and innovative control scheme, stunning graphics, and the story could have been awesome. But instead of making it an assassin game, THE assassin game, they made it an annoying errand game.

An assassins is an errand boy - Paid or told to kill people for other people

Riiiiiiiight. And how many "assassinations" do you actually pull off in this game? I haven't played it much but wasn't it something like 4 or 5?

Obviously when I say "errand boy" I meant, go here, climb tower, listen to conversation, steal this from this guy, blah blah. Seriously, It was a great looking game but I would have thought more actual assassinations would have been the point.

I got it free too and love it. I've thought about downloading the extra content, anyone know if those extra tiles are any good?

I like that you can play against people in the same room and don't have to go online to get a matchup.

GTA a good story? Wow... just..... wow. Even COD4's story blows GTA away.

In my fairly limited 360 experience the best I've seen is Bioshock. Though I haven't played Lost Odysee the story sounds intriguing. Mass Effect was pretty good too.

Best I've ever played all time... Planescape: Torment.

Kingdom Hearts (only played the first) was okish. Just way too childish. FF tactics gets a lot of nods but I never understood the big deal with that story. Just your run of the mill political faction story. Most FF stories are pretty lame. They Try hard but ultimately fall flat in terms of impact upon the player.
