Setting: USA, 20th century (california if possible), more cities, villages like in San Andreas and dont even think about not including San Andreas/Ballad of Gay Tony missions.

C'mon I mean seriousness is ok but the missions are much more refreshing. GTA IV could be renamed into GTA:Hitman. I mean, they did it like noone else could and it's great, but they should make it more like SA next time.

Oh and don't even think about a GTA MMO or something like that.

What? We dont go to Ravenhold isnt scary at all. Some ravens and zombies in the dark. Damn you're scared easily.

Condemned certainly wasnt a walk in the park. The dark house at the beginning, the shop with the mannequins (they certainly added to the horror), the murderer's house are well done. It's not a milestone by any means but it is a quality game IMO. It achieves what it sets out to do.

I just got my delivery including Silent Hill for the PS One and I can't wait to start it up. Maybe it will be even better with 5.1 surround sound.

I also heard at some point that it's bad for your box to turn it on or off within an hour. I don't know if thats true or not but my original model 360 hasn't needed repairs since I started following that rule so I'm sticking to it like a religion.

MassiveKaos

You know i acctually belive this to. Theres quiet alot of people that have been able to get their 360s working for weeks using the towel trick after i had been rrod. One person who had it working for almost 3 months after he did it said he just left the 360 on for the whole 3 months without turning it off at all.

Usually from 2 to 8 hours. Sounds interesting, but I doubt it has an effect. It just sounds strange - I mean, sure, you cant expect your console to stay alive if you turn it on and off all the time, but not if you do it 2 times a week within an hour.

Assassins Creed (not the press but the users who gave it a like a 9), Mass Effect (its well made, but its simply a feeling of "could have been more story, characters, gameplay (what's left of it), too small areas/towns, length in general (I usually dont care about length in a game)), ...

Well, I didnt look for pigeons or seagulls (TLAD, BoGT) but I did look out for stunt jumps. However, I never completed them. I did however look for strangers on the streets because they all have a little story to tell which is motivating. But really, I only did it because I admire GTA, I doubt that most people do much besides the main missions.

Off Topic:

Oh, now that you mention it, I got all the cars for Stevie yesterday. My favourite car is the SuperGT as it was in San Andreas, I just love everything about it. In San Andreas, it was the sports car with the most difficult handling, if you dont believe me, try to drive it full speed while it's raining.

@gta4_2112

very true, the tracks for the races are nice but you get the same tracks all the time, even though it depends on which island you're on. Add this to the fact that the tracks are pretty simple and the AI is an insult to every player's intelligence and you get boring races. Of course you can't have the same layouts as in San Andreas like off road mixed with hills in San Fierro, but at least make it more challenging than driving on the highway all the time.

@next gta

I hope the next one will have diverse missions like San Andreas' and not "search and destroy/kill" missions all the time, Ballad of Gay Tony was very refreshing. Next one needs to have more cities and countryside.

@jrpg recommendation: Lost Odyssey is linear, old school, turn based (meaning slow) and long. I'd buy it if you like those things, many say its a bit like FF.

@Fallout 3: its not a horror game, it just has lots of blood and flying body parts. concerning the dlc - you dont have to get it, its just an expansion. cant comment on the "play through it once and never again" aspect, but i think its more like a "more playthroughs than one" game because of decision making.

Come on you gotta tell us what kind of games you like/dislike, there are more xbox 360 games than you can count. Should it be long, short, linear, open world, tactical, slow-paced or heavy on action and fast-paced, do you like a specific genre etc. etc.

Buy Splosion Man, get N+ for free on PC. Why would you buy it if it's free if you have a PC.
