Qollector, but I'd trade in those games I didn't like if I'd be close to a Gamestop. Selling over ebay makes no sense since lots of them are either 18+ which arent allowed and most of them would be sold for 1 buck which doesnt make sense.

Perfect Dark Zero for its abysmal singleplayer and especially The Godfather which has the worst gameplay of all sandbox games I've played so far (and that includes Just Cause). Totally misplaced health, facepalm AI that makes Need for Speed Most Wanted's AI look sublime, car control of GTA 2 is 10x better, the whole town looks the same and is dead (the whole city looks the same and there is nothing to explore), there are about 5 different vehicles in the game, besides the story you have nothing to da except for gang wars. Two things they did right was the cutcenes and the outfits. I shouldnt have bought it just because it has Godfather written on it.
I was also disappointed by Heroes of Might and Magic IV for not having any maps and having everything dumbed down in comparison to HOMM III.
Just Cause needs more variety. Also, words cannot describe how abysmal the cutcenes are. The story couldn't be more forgettable. The AI is an insult to the gaming world.
Oh, and the Club of course. They should have called it "The Shmup". At least I was able to finish it to put it far far away from the rest of my library.
Auto aim should be forbidden. It's lame just pressing a button without aiming if much of the game consists of shooting like in GTA. If you want to just press a button and nothing else, why not have everything removed from the game except for cutcenes? Because thats pretty much the same.
I mean that you can frighten a child easier than an adult. The adult cant be arsed that easily, it takes more than just a ghost or an ugly face.

Yes, you've read correctly, no Halo 3 or CAll of Duty (except for the 2nd to try it out)
Like someone said just wait until they are 20 bucks new or buy them used, the only ones that cost me more were those I knew I'd like.
You can buy used consoles on ebay, so that's not much of a problem. I myself did it since I only had a N64 when I was young, I recently bought the other consoles used and I dont have a problem with that.
As for material fatigue on CDs, DVDs, Cartridges, well, nobody knows how old they can get, it certainly depends on where you stored them, but even then you cant be sure. I know its great playing a game that you enjoyed 20 years ago, and you can do that, but youll just have to find out how you can keep playing it without the material then. Store the data, I dont know, dont worry, if it should pose a problem Im sure that people will come up with something that will help.
I totally agree with you, I havent bought any digital DLC so far, instead, I waited for the addons of GTA IV to be released on a physical basis. I'll also buy the Borderlands DLC on the disc and not digitally. Concerning Dragon Age, I'll only buy any DLC if it gets released on disc, too. I hate all this EA-account crap and having to be online to download it. I'll also buy the Fallout 3 GOTY with the DLC on it. And that's almost all that is interesting since most of the DLC like AC 2, Mass Effect and all the others are a rip off in my opinion. But I understand that fans need to have everything of it.
It depends on what your definition of scary is? It's not like games are as scary as when you were a child. Basically, it's just the thrill of not knowing when the next enemy attacks you. You don't fear the enemy because he is ugly, you fear him because he attacks you when you don't expect it. I doubt you're so laid back, that you don't care if someone attacks you from behind, in the dark, with surround sound cranked up and you dont have a rush of adrenaline. If so, you should stop playing them.
When I was younger, I wouldn't care about story, in fact, I hardly played games with a "good" (=deep) story. You know, like Mario, Diablo, HOMM, Doom 3, Enemy Territory, racing games. The older I got the more I wanted the game to have a good story. It's important for me.
Like someone said, it cant replace a bad game. Or a very unaccessable one like many adventures, where you have to solve strange puzzles. I hate not knowing what to do after 10 minutes of thinking of trying out, that's why adventures arent interesting for me. However, I will try in the future to play one of most critically acclaimed ones, maybe I'll appreciate them when I'm older.
