On the final steps of building my new PC I call my friend to see if he has advice about it and if he can set it up. With all the free stuff he gets me, I won't build it myself, for he gives 'service', something that died on the birth of my generation.

Anyway, he informs me that a CPU, to function at full, needs a certain RAM to match it's FSB number. So I look and see that my 3.0Ghz Intel needs 1333mhz, ok I look in DDR2 and nothing goes past 1060, maybe it's a bunch of crap. I check DDR3 for fun, 1333mhz, DAWM IT! DDR3 is way too expensive. I don't have 1500$ yet.

So I said; PC SUCK MY BALLS, I WILL NOT SEND 1500$ FOR BETTER GAMEPLAY!!! :evil:

I bought a Xbox 360 three weeks ago. I never had so much fun with friends since BattleFront 2 on PS2. The gameplay is flawed, using only my tumbs and two fingers is a waste compared to a hand and a half from PC. It's like comparing a Bastard sword to a Stiletto. The grafics are crap on my normal TV but then I remembered that my 50'' TV is HD, Gears in 1080i is f***ing awesome; it's 50 f***ing inches makes normal TV f***ing awsome.:twisted:

Two last things; Gears is the best game I played in ages and Gamewarrior stop getting headshot by my sniper.:P

Yes it seems that Bethesda have been doing other things than give each other piggy back rids for the last 3 years. They now own a good old franchise called 'Fallout' and are determined to drive a stake in it's mutated flesh.

Fallout 3 was a big hype for me until I read the PCGamer interview, seriously the mag has drop a few notches that day. Here are the reasons why:

1. All reasons come down to this: THEY MAKE BAD TRAILERS! Yes they do and that cuts down the hype because they reuse the same game elements over and over.

1.1: STOP WITH THE ARMOURED VAULT SUIT! I had enough of it! I hope it's worth good loot because it's the first thing I'll sell. NO screenshot uses another suit, witch tens to confuse the watcher, I was sure there weren't anything else until I READ it, showing Bethesda's commitment to killing all hype.

1.2: STOP WITH THE SLOWMO KILLS! Another abuse of a good idea, it seems that Fallout's marketing group believe that showing TWO new gameplay elements in every single trailer and screenshot, will make a game sell, especially five months before release, *coughs* hint hint bethesda, show some story and missions.

1.3: Thanks for making the Enclave look utterly stupid at the Microsoft press conference E3 08; 'Oh hear comes the Enclave in a helicopter, I guess they seen me runing around aimlessly and shooting errant enemies, I guess I should kill them'. That Bethesda is killing the immersion, something you should of learned with Oblivion. Fallout is heavey of story. What I seen in trailers is a wide open world were you kill random enemies with plasma rifles and nuke guns, with crappy music witch brings me to my next point:

1.4: WHY THE **** WOULD MARCHING BAND MUSIC BE A 'HOMAGE TO THE SERIES' TODD! Todd Howard is the producer and a tw** if you ask me. He's responsible for all these errors and should be fired and be attacked by angry female emos and become terminally ill. The 'Enclave' channel is a bunch of rubbish for two year olds, the marching band sounds alot the Barney song and it's hard to imagine the tough Enclave soldiers listening to that crap. Witch brings me to 1.3. At the press conference it was said that that was cool, I would of said it would be cool if three year olds liked blowing mutants apart.

1.5: Fallout 3 is an RPG a term Bethesda seem to confuse with 'Bad controled shot em up with no point to playing it other than enjoy bad music, lame gameplay and more'. Todd where the hell are the RPG elements? Of coarse you don't want to give up the story but every humain knows about Megaton, so give us some videos.

Though I force myself to believe that Fallout 3 will be worth playing, I think that the marketing group should finish midle school or play brain age.

I decided I wanted UT3 two days ago because I found out it had split screen and the next day I get it, quicker than most of my buys. I got the collectors edition and got a sweet hardcover art book and a tin case hardly worth my 10$ extra but thats all EBGames had.

So at 5 I sit down and start playing THE BEST deathmatch game EVER and three hours later I had to get up because my PC fried. Well it did and now all I'm doing is looking at my art booklet.

Like I said, the PC is fried, I got up to take a bath and when I came back it was off and the power button didn't work anymore. I changed the PSU not a month ago so I doubt that broke the mobo lite does turn on so I asume power runs in the mobo. I changed the CPU for the old one, no difference. What else can do this, the RAM? No the last time I didn't put the RAM it right the PC still start just the screen was blanc. I haven't played in it for a while so the parts are all well placed.

This sucks so much. I am getting a new PC soon but I was hoping not to have to trow my old one in the trash.

Here's mine:

Wii: has a good game line up but since they stopped making games for it last year there's not much left for the person who bought it on release. With the different controls many developers are scared away from it so ports are unlikely too, so you count on the the regular Nintendo line-up of games (Mario, Zelda and games with characters in SSB ( not solid snake of coarse)).

Xbox 360: has by far the strongest line-up of games with GoW, Halo III and Fable 2 so it's in my opinion the most potent system witch could explain why I'm buying one.

PS3: doesn't offer much more than the Xbox 360 (only MGS4 and MANY promises) witch is why fanboys and owners are pissed, I felt like giving a link but... :lol: E3 forum anyone?

PC: my favord system even if it doesn't offer much more than a g*d dawm hole in your pocket. Better for RTS and FPS even if some of the better FPSs are on consoles. It's got some nice exclusives ( Crysis, Sins...) and MMOs witch haven't come to console fully yet. But since the PC suports game pads and the possibility of using a TV as a monitor, consoles and PC will merge in the next few years.

As for hand helds? Well I got a DS and don't really care for the PSP.
