Attack my base, not my defenses. I play with forge online and I noticed that if I am being attacked by my base my opponent attacks my units and not the base itself. Since i usually have about 8 grizzlies withfully upgraded spartans inside 3 of them and 2 vultures as well as turrets nothing will kill my guys. Yet, game after game people continue to attack my my units and fail miserably. I win just about every single game in 1 vs 1 because I actually attack the bases. canaster shell shots from my grizzlies and mega barrage from my vultures + mega carpet bomb take out bases right away. I ignore the units and turrets and spam the Y button. Every1 gets pissed and usually quits.

Also, why does every1 play the girl online? She is really not that great. The only good thing she has is the Hawk. Despite popular belief forge can expand more quickly than the girl can. Nobody can rush forge i have 3-4 scorpians out at the begining of the match while my opponent is wasting resources upgrading his warthogs.

will it make it on the ps3? I hope so, but I dont think the ps3 can handle these graphics i mean all ps3 games with big open environments and a lot going on have terrible textures. Go up to cover behind any rock in KZ2 and you will see a flat n64 texture. I think its because of the memory issues like the dev recently said.

anyways i hope they can find a way to make this game work on the ps3 so i can play!

i remember reading that the 16core larrabee runing with just 2 threads (i think) and half clock speed was running gears of war pc maxed out 1980x1200 at 234fps

i disagree. The console port of FEAR on the 360 sold very well. the pc version also sold very well

The frame rate of a game does not affect the quality of the models, textures, environments etc. From a graphical standpoint a game running at 20fps will look as good when running at 100fps.PS2_ROCKS

its a lot easier to improve those qualities when the game runs at lower frames. If the other games ran at a similar resolution and framerate they could increase graphical presentation significantly. Thats why MGS4 doesnt even deserve to be nominated let alone win

how can it win this award? Gamespot is saying this game is more technically impressive than any other game to be released this year. It's easy to see that "technically" it can't hold a steady framerate and runs at a low resolution.
