i have played very many shooters and i still love f.e.a.r

i think its one of the best shooters ever. I played the game on the pc a little while after it released and i thought it was one of the best looking games. I played all settings max at res @ 1680 x 1050, but most people didnt play the game that way at first and probably lost immersion

i love the gunplay it was soo perfect i felt the game was much much better than half life 2 (which might as well be considered a puzzle game and not a shooter)

it had a great physics engine for the time; the ragdoll enemies were a lot of fun especially pinning them against the wall with 12in spikes. The guns were loud and awsome and the way the enemies would talk to you and each other created great atmosphere.

- first off its not twice as expensive it around $100 more than the 20GB and same price as the elite mode

- since it came out a year later then 360 should have better looking games since the developers had more time to work with the system

Lowering the FPS does nothing for the textures because the textures rely on how much RAM you have.AIH_PSP

thats not true its more complicated than that

if its 60fps it means they scaled down the graphics for more frames. If there was no relationship between the two then every single game would run at 60fps.

thats why in crysis when you turn down the settings you get more frames. There are some exceptions in certain cases because of programing choices but what that guy said was very silly
