I just got my first paycheque and I plan on spending $400-450 on a PS3 and games. I don't want to spend more than $300-350 on the PS3. I want 2 regular controllers and I don't care for the Move controller. I will not spend much time - if any at all - on online games. This leaves me with $50-100 to spend on games. I want to purchase God Of War 3 for sure. I am also seriously considering the Unchartered series, the inFamous series, the Little Big Planet series, Resistance series, Killzone series, Ico and Shadow Of The Colossus collection, Heavy Rain, Dark Souls, Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Arkham City. Other games I am looking at include Wipeout HD, Lair, Vanquish, Demon Souls, Call Of Duty: Black Ops, Flow, Flower, Rage and Red Dead Redemption. I am also interested in Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns Of Patriots, but I haven't played any other MGS games so I am not sure if I will appreciate it fully. In particular, I am looking for fun offline multiplayer games, splitscreen, co-op and/or versus. I am not interested in sports games; I'll probably pick up a PES title next year or so. I am not interested in racing games unless the local multiplayer is exceptionally fun (perhaps something like Burnout). Further, I don't forsee buying more games for at least another six months so playtime is an issue. I am not opposed to buying games secondhand.
