:lol: I forgot Bioshock. I think Bioshock is the most deserving of winning GOTY as it is actually a completely original game and brings something fresh too gaming. And I just have a gut feeling that Bioshock will win GOTY. :)
Hermits: Be honest, what other game has 6 million preorders, what other game has changed the FPS world, and what other game has BOTH amazing Single and Multi on PC? Half Life & Half Life 2 changed FPS more then Halo, Halo 2 or Halo 3 ever have or ever will. And these have CS, CS Source, Team Fortress, Team Fortress2 (and other multiplayer options) for those games, which offer better multiplayer experiences then Halo. Crysis also looks better then halo, promises more interesting storyline & concept, and will probably have a decent multiplayer aspect.
All your top games won't sell and score as high as Halo 3. What is holding back Halo 3 from GOTY in your eyes? Crysis or COD4 or UT3.
Cows: Flopzone 2 is the only FPS and the first one flopped, like the second one. What FPS can compare to the red lightning of Halo 3? UT3? UT is overrated and is small in comparaion to Halo 3 multiplayer. What is holding back Halo from GOTY in your eyes? Dunno.
Sheep: When you turn 13, ask your parents for a 360 for Christmas or for your birthday so you can play a First Person Shooter. They are very fun! (I keed) What is holding back Halo 3 from GOTY in your eyes? Mario Galaxy looks truly excellent. Super Smash Bros will have excellent multiplayer.

Definitely Rugby Union/League. NFL has nothing on these. Jonah Lomu (from New Zealand), for example (in his prime) would be a more fearsome adversary then any NFL player I've ever seen.
That's a big call, my friend. Games like Starcraft have excellent sountracks, the Final Fantasy series has excellent musical sountracks, Nintendo games generally have catchy sountrackes (Metroid Prime had an excellent sountrack, in my opinion). But I'm looking forward too downloading it too see what it's like (haven't played the game yet). :)

Fair enough, you're entitled too your opinion :). I really liked the atmosphere of the film, it was one of the few horror/thriller films I've watched recently that I've enjoyed.
I will know that PS3 fanboys will attack and I'm saying this because I'm 360 fanboy (To Make More Angry :twisted: ) But It is clear that PS3 has no signature game to make their console special as 360's and because it is so expensive will die anyways It will be killed before it dies....You Sony fanboys guessed it Halo 3... It is gaming legend not as some stupid role-playing games which only senstive people play games like that.
Halo 3 is not just one game becaue if a game gets 1000000+ pre-orders thats too much for game and everyone is buying a 360 just for that and besides it has more FPS legends such as BioShock, Perfect Dark Zero, Gears of Wars, Dead or Alive and so many other games. And if ya think that 2008 will be sony's year you are wrong probably millions will play Halo 3 and of course it will have Content Download to make their signature game refreshing.
So Microsoft will win the fight and Sony will end-up as DreamCast.

What you say is ridiculous. Halo 3 has no chance of killing the PS3. Don't be absurd. Too even talk of a single game 'killing' a console is absolutely ludicrous. The PS3 will do well in this generation, as will the Xbox 360, and as will the Wii. You have a very singleminded, ignorant viewpoint about the video-game industry, evidently.
depends on how well the wii does. and how happy nintendo are with the support they are getting from 3rd parties.
However they already said that their next console would be in HD so a big graphical jump may not be far off.
They may however stick with 360 graphics and instead work on a better wii remote, like a glove or something.

I would assume that this is what Nintendo would do. I dont think they would see the need to go any higher then 360 graphics - 360 & PS3 have excellent graphical capabilities, so I don't think Nintendo would really see any need too improve upon these capabilities. But I could be wrong :)

Yes you will get more games but games like WiiFit and WiiSports.
Yes, but at the same time there is more room for games like Bioshock, as they can reach a greater potential audience. So it evens itself out.
I agree, I think people will look at videogames as a mainstream entertainment activity now, and I hope it means we get more games, and more importantly more incredible games for me to play.Trading_Zoner
