Alright earlier, I was on the internet, and I got a pop up, it told me to update my videoActive X (I later realized it mus have been from a specific website...) or something so I was like yea sure whatever, I'll get that over with so it doesn't bug me in the future, turns out it unleashed hell on my computer...spyware, malware, trojan etc. I have a number of new options to get rid of this problem but I haven't clicked any because I am almost certain all of those options are provided by the host/virus...Please help me...FYI I was not on any illegal/porn websites. I was searching pictures formybackground...

Well I have a lot of **** on this account, adobe photoshop and other programs. I don't really know how to move them to another account. Like I said, I'm very ignorant when it comes to computers. Type and click...that's about all I know.
Really, this board is very helpful. I guess they just don't want to awnser, lol. I would call Windows Tech support. I am sure they have one.

Hmmm...alright, I might do that, I mean it's not that big of a problem....but I make wallpapers etc., so I usually prefer to have some of my work on my background. Well thanks for the help. Very much appreciated.
Definitly not a virus. You need to state more about your situation. Does anyone else use it? Is there more than one account? etc. Press F8 at start-up and type net user then select an account and change the password. try starting the comp again normally. All check if you locked tool bars and anything else.

How do I check if the tool bar is locked? You want me to change the password on the account that has the problem?
