@Chaos_Dante_456 I'm dissapointed with this generation in general... Too much focus on visuals and motion controls for me.

@stephbm6 True but Nintendo has shown they are capable of turning around a failing platform(3DS). Also I thought Activisions appeal was mostly in the casual market... I haven't bought a game from them in ages =0

@Joshua2222 I agree with you too an extent but we are looking at launch window games as of now... Its been awhile since I bought a game for launch titles so on the software side I'm following the usual "wait and see" approach. Hardware IMO has potential but does look clunky. Again a wait and see.

Having doubts is what any rational adult should be doing when looking at any luxury item =)

Activision had no problem using the Wii remote... I'm sure they wouldn't have minded using it again... It is possible that they had some say in the design(it definitely favors FPS) but I doubt they told Nintendo what to do... Ubisoft is much closer to Nintendo and really more important than Activision(there's a reason MS wont buy them)... Its likely Act will eat **** next generation when the CoD fad starts to go away.

@BludshedX You don't have to take the suit and NSMB has never been a challenge. If by putting that in the game they are willing to make the game harder than SMB2(Japan) then I like it.

@kattamuuran Well he's really not talking about Square-Enix... For that matter he's not even saying he wants the latest tech he's talking about how smaller developers who might have waited around for the next generation of consoles after their first game didn't do so well have moved on to other platforms... It is just speculation. Most of those developers probably would have left for friendlier markets anyway. Free low budget games are much easier to get into than the console market.

@endorbr I like 3 console makers. 2 might result in a situation like the SNES where Nintendo had enough market control to screw over developers. If Nintendo were to drop MS might gain enough control over the market to act like a **** to developers.

@tommynj No fighting games are old and one genre that can't really benefit from new controls... They are based in button mashing.

@AngelCage-2 Oh I'm sorry since using dual screens in fighting games makes so much sense...

I like the idea for shooters/adventure/action/RPG/RTS games but the fighting genre is different... At best it can be used for special attacks or a panic button...

Of course it is distracting in fighting games... Fighting games are just button mashing...
