[QUOTE="Arbiterisl33t69"][QUOTE="Silverbond"]People care about soccer?SilverbondThe world doesn't revolve around the U.S. so yes, most people care about football.People care about football but the world doesn't revolve around us? Makes sense. Lol trying to sound smart. You understood. It's a figure of speech. The only people who don't care about football are Americans. And that's not even true for the most part, MLS is growing steadily each year and football's getting a bigger fanbase in the States. Every other country loves or at least cares about football.
[QUOTE="Arbiterisl33t69"][QUOTE="RoccoHout"]Lol "sporter". What about those that enjoy both? Those exist, you know. The world isn't black and white. You don't have to be some extreme nerd who only likes videogames or some extreme jock who only likes sports. And what sport corruption? Well then you'd presumably fall into the middle and recognise that video games and physical sport are different beasts. Then I fall into that middle ground.Guys, video games is and always will be a casual fun activity. We don't need all the sport-corruption stuff to occur into video games.
If your truly a gamer, you don't want video games to become a sport.
If your truly a sporter, you don't want video games to become a sport.

Saying On the olympics just proves you don't even know what they are about[QUOTE="Arbiterisl33t69"][QUOTE="MK-Professor"]
Totaly agree with the TC, E-Sports should be on the Olympics.
MK-Professor
I don't even know what they are about, and yet I have been in the Olympics several times? Olympic games can be 10 times more interesting to watch if they had E-Sports.
For you and a few others, maybe. Doesn't mean it would be true. The majority would be turned off if E-Sports were added.[QUOTE="Arbiterisl33t69"][QUOTE="VendettaRed07"]Wtf is this sh!t... How the hell is playing videogames with nothing more than handling and mental input extreme in any way whatsoever? This speaks volumes about today's fatasses of America. Says the casual gamer Lol on what base do you assume I'm a casual gamer?Honestly if ****ing Badminton is in the olympics then anything should be able to make it in.
But honestly it won't happen. Not for just the fact that most people will refuse to acknowledge videogames as an actual competitive sport, whether it is or not the argument doesn't matter people just won't accept it.
The other problem is that the Olympics are all about tradition, and people have been competiting in the same events from all over the world for hundreds of years. Videogames, unlike these sports which will almost never really change, changes constantly. The games that would be played would have to change every few years in order to stay relevant. So it would never happen.
The X games would be a legitimate possibility though. Maybe then someone would watch it. Nobody cares about rollerblading and skate boarding anymore yet people love videogames now, its not like the X games have any standards or integrity they just want to be cool so Im sure they would go for it if they thought it would generate interest
