ZombiU and Rayman are the two games I plan on getting at this point. I feel so strange though, i mean, not getting a Nintendo game at launch.

It's still coming. You just wait. I heard they are porting to the WiiU.

That's just evil man. A pity it failed, because it looked amazing.

I know. I know. Sorry. It was a game I was actually really looking forward to for a long time. It was really a great example of the kind of unique experiences I was expecting for the Wii. After about the 3rd "revival," though, I just gave up. And even though I just made the porting to the WiiU thing up, I bet you, somewhere out there in the wilds of the internet, there's some obscure gaming site that has already posted just such a rumor.

Eh. I feel like if Nintendo made a FPS this late in the game (the game of making console FPSs since Goldeneye) it would be clunky and weird. Nintendo does a lot of things right, but I'm not sure they could just become expert FPS designers overnight.

Wind Waker is the only story that goes in to any real depth in the series. It's not just a plot, it has strong use of metaphor and conveys a very powerful and well thought out message. No other Zelda even has a quarter of the quality found in wind Waker's story.

Pikminmaniac

As soon as I saw the title of this thread I knew you would be in here saying this. I also knew that I would be quoting you and completely agreeing with everything you had to say about WW. Preach it man!

I really do think WW was the height of story telling for Zelda so far.

Edit: Actually, I want to ammend this a bit. WW's plot was great, not just for a Zelda game, but for all games in general.

[QUOTE="SavageKantus"]The Wii U controller just seems like it's gonna be so uncomfortable with the sticks on top.Toxic-Seahorse
Why? The left stick is already on top on the 360 remote. Is your left hand not comfortable using the left stick? Why would having the right stick on top be any less comfortable?

I've been wondering this as well. How does anyone know it will be uncomfortable? I thought the 360 controller looked real uncomfortable compared to my trusty ol' dual shock 2. Boy was I wrong. But I never would have had a clue until I actually got it in my hands.

I wonder what Project H.A.M.M.E.R. is about.

TyberZannxxxx
From what I remember its the timeless tale of a young lad with big dreams and an even bigger hammer going around smashing robots.

Reviewer with lack of experience using Wiimote + general disdain for motion controls + need for self aggrandizement = 7.5 I'm half joking, of course. A minority of people just seemed to have some problems with the game. Best thing to do is just play it for yourself.

I don't know if I can play another Zelda game without the motion controls. They just worked so well for me (with the lone exception of swimming). I will agree that IR pointer should have been used for aiming; its just faster and easier to understand. But other than that I hope that Nintendo just expands on the idea and makes it even better.
