wuts the difference between a core duo and a core 2 duo processor? cuz i was on a site customizing a computer, and it cost more for a 1.8 Ghtz core 2 duo processor than a 3.8 GHtz core duo processor... is it that much faster?

ok.. i havent played sims 2 in a long time cuz my computer broke... now im goin to buy a new one... i have sims 2 and sims 2 university.... out of the following... which one(s) should i get? Sims 2 Night Life Sims 2 Open For Buisiness Sims 2 Pets Sims 2 Seasons] and i think that is all the expansion packs.. but im not sure...

ahhh.. thats goin to be expensive.. i went to dell.com and that was about 1450 bucks.. o well, ill just save up longer.. minimum wage sucks.. lol.
