True, I did forget to say in my originall post, that it is a matter of opinion, my parents had me early, infact I was born a couple months after my dad graduated from USMC bootcamp, but my parents married early because they loved eachother, not because they felt obligated.

Still though, my parents didn't actually miss out on life because of me, in fact my dad did alot of awesome stuff in the MArines, and mymom made lots of friedns with other Marines wives. My dad got out after 4 years so he could be with me and my mom and not be going out to Europe andAfrica ETC. But my dad did tell me that if I'm serious about going in the MArines, that I shouldn't get MArried unless I'm really in love, because its hard to be a Marine and family man at the same time.

that explains it. im in the military. and its like the THING to get married and stuff. i dunno i met some people that meet a girl and with in 2 weeks they are engage. and what not. some poeple just dont know what love is. others do it for the money and the beniftis, and some are just plain stupid.

and besides when your in the military, any girl that knows alittle bit of the military knows that you get paid the first and the 15 of ever month of ever year... whihc means they go and blow your check the moment you get it. lol thats why im not getting married for a while :)

My dad said it was like that in the MArines, but if your Married in the Military thats less stuff you cn do.

Kind of at a disadvantage when going away on a ship for 6 months, or going in a war, ETC...

well some poeple get married because then they are allowed to get housing, and even off post housing, if your not married then its the barracks life for you.
