Nintendo does not innovate all the time. The gamecube was not innovative in any way other than having the ability to connect with GBA on some games. I am not bashing Nintendo, but saying that the company always innovates is false. The 3DS is not innovative. 3D is nothing new.

I am hardcore Nintendo. I just wanna state that first. lol. I think the reason why people harped on the 3DS so much is because they know Nintendo has finally come to a place where they have learned all their lessons, and will never be in danger again. They DID do someting silly by not releasing the system with a big Nintendo game to go with it. And hald of the software that was supposed to be in it wasn't on day 1. So us "embassadors" kinda deserve the free games, cause in a way, we kinda played a BETA version of 3DS. It didn't even have internet really when it first launched.

When it was reported that Nintendo lost almost a BILLION dollars, these media people know that when people hear "ONE BILLION DOLLARSS! MWAA HA HAA" They gasp! But Nintendo still has like.... 10 BILLION. It's all about what would sell a news paper, but basically 3DS never did bad. And Nintendo has wisened up since the launch of the Wii. Not that there was anything wrong with their last systems, but now they're covering all bases.

And they learned their last lesson by trying to give the 3rd parties the spotlight at launch, and that didn't work out the way they thought. Like I said, it's all about what would sell a news paper, but in reality, Nintendo was never doing bad. They took alittle risk, tried something different with the 3DS launch, and now they know better. You watch, in a couple of months, you won't hear anything negative about 3DS, because they will have nothing to harp on.

And as far as mobile gaming taking over tradition gaming? HA. First of all, Angry Birds is FREE on anroid phones. Thats the other hald of the world that DOESN'T have an iPhone, so why wouldn't I download a free game? Angry Birds is the new SNAKE for phones, NOT "the new Mario Brothers".

I don't get what you're saying, are you saying the Vita has a chance coz the PSP outsold the DS for like a year in Japan? Coz if so, no. One small region isn't the world, as we saw the PSP get murdered by the DS everywhere else and lose a lot of third party support because of that.

And the 3DS sold 6.68 million as of September 30th. Its looking like another million in October, and I'm calling 1.2 million in November, and 1.5 million in December. That'd put it near 10.5 million by the new year, and most likely 12-15 million lead by Spring Break.

3ds is not close to being as capable to the wii, but i think they could be able to make it look as nice as or close to as nice as the wii version

i loved my ds lite however have spent more time on my ps3. having quickly dismissed the 3ds after a quick play im now seriously considering buying one. ive been surprised by the lineup of games including f1 2011 and pro evo, both which are online. now cant wait to get my hands on this little beauty.
