Preason BABY!

Well, preseason starts in a couple hours. I got the schedule, today's not bad, just 8 miles of running. It'll pick up to 10-12 later in the week, but it'll be fun all the same, seeing my friends who live far away now that we're all going back to school.

I Like Getting E-Mails From Friends

I was thinking about it, and I realized how little I know about my friends on GameSpot. They're just people that I either send a meesage to or hit "Accept." So I figured, why not give them my e-mail and say "Hey, send me one, this way I can know people a little bit better" So hit the link below, just says whats up, and whatever, I'll send you one back.

By the way I'm heading out for a surf trip today, and won't be back for a while, later

A New Idea For "Cutting" Friends

As some of you may remember, I said in a previous Journal post that I was going to listen to Soulreavercross and delete friends. But then I realized, how do I know who is and isn't a friend I want to keep. Then I realized. Every friend that sends me a Union invite I will check if he has left me any comments, PMed me, or joined my Union. If not, then that means I'm just somebody on his friends list that he'll send the invites out too. For those of you reading this, I probably did that to you when I was still in my accepting all friend request stage. I'm very sorry, it gets annoying.

Sox, Games, and Summer Reading

The biggest thing in my life now is hoping to get all my summer reading done soon. It's rough, a couple hours a day crammed in. Besides that, been playing a little GTA: San Andreas and Metroid Prime 2. The sox won last night, although it was a close one, thank god for David Ortiz. I was also pumped that the Yankees lost, walking a man with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 11 when they were away. How stupid is that. But in fitness, just doing a lot of running for Cross Country, lifting a couple days a week, swimming, and erging. Time to go read for a little and then short, 5 mile run.

Pat's Win, Eagles Lose, and Metroid Prime

Having relatives from Pennsylvania, and being a New Englander, quite the family rivalry for last year's Super Bowl. Well, that's over, after it ended well, and now the preseason has started, and great, the Patriots beat the Bengals. Even better, the Eagles just lost to the Steelers.

Anyway, got Metroid Prime 2 today, and saw the Fantastic 4. Both are/were very good. Anyway I'm heading to bed, later.

Triathlon

Turns out I am doing a triathlon sunday, against what I thought. O well, should be a blast. Otherwise, just got back from vacation, and heading out for work tomorrow, then partying all weekend, should be fun.

A Whacky Idea Before I Left

I realized, I should e-mail Jack Thompson. Why not, it's just down his alley to call a 15-year-old mentally ill. Here's the e-mail, lame I know.

Mr Thompson,

I've noticed in the media that you have a very anti-violence belief
for games. Why games? There are some school shootings sure, but what
about the countless more that die in road rage or burglaries by people
who don't have access to violent media. Who is that blamed upon?
What about a present that sends his troops over to Iraq for a twisted
personal cause? That is much more unjust, considering the death toll.
I don't understand why you choose to use taxpayers money when it
could be used for much more important causes, such as crime
prevention, drug rehab, and anti-war pushes.

Thank you,
Will Schlitzer

Who knows, could be fun to get a reply

Don't Worry, and Erging

When I posted my message about cleaning out my friends list, I got comments from people begging not to be removed. Well the news is, since your reading this, you aren't going to get the boot. I just want to cut down on the people that don't do anything at all.

But anyway, I'm going to go get a haircut, and I decided to do this online erging challenge to row 1,000,000 meters. I'm at 50,766, so a long way to go, but it's going in my sig.

New Dane Cook CD

I got the new Dane Cook CD, Retaliation. It is incredible! It's hilarious! Buy it now! But seriously, it's worth getting, the stand-up is great. Anyway, ran 4 miles today, and am going to hang out with my best friend later today.

Met This Incredible Girl, and 1000 Posts

While vacationing, I met this incredible girl. We don't live that far apart, which is good. She was an incredible person, attractive, funny, cool. We'll see what happens.

But anyway, I hit 1000 posts, and originally it was just a one word post, no, but i edited it to commemorate my 1000th post.
