FarCry 2 IS TOO BIG.

Before this game came out, I would kill for an FPS with endless terrain & an RPG-like gameplay. When FarCry 2 came out, I wasn't disappointed. It just wasn't what I expected.

This game delivered everything I wanted, but I wasn't very intrigued with it. It's not something you can't wait to play again after you've left the computer. It's a wonderful game, it just takes too long to get from point A to point B, WITHOUT the pointless gunfights in between. I've had this game for 6 months now & I'm only 12% into the campaign, partly because my previous save got deleted somehow & I had to start over, but still I haven't finished it in a period of 6 months.

I love it when I finish a mission, but that joy lasts about 4 or 5 seconds. As soon as you see "Mission Complete" appear on your HUD, you know that you have to take another long drive back to the next missions starting point.

But this game is the first of its kind, so I'm not too hard of it. I will probably finish it eventually, maybe by the end of the year. All in all it did deliver what it promised.

I'm really frustrated with CoD4's multiplayer game hosting system. It's ridiculously hard to host a non-dedicated online server so you can play with friends. When my friends try to host, I can't find their servers & vice versa. If someone knows how to find a way for this to work, please private message me. I hope Infinity Ward fix this in Modern Warfare 2.

Honestly, what's up with people complaining about stupid perks on CoD4. Live & let live. Just a short rant about idiots who keep complaining.

People complain about Juggernaut alot, referring to those who use as "Jugga-noobs". Yeah, real damn creative a**holes. Though I don't personally use Juggernaut as I favour other perks over it, there's nothing wrong with having a bit of extra health. Some idiots don't realise that Juggernaut is canceled out by the damage increasing perks such as Stopping Power & Deep Impact.

Last Stand shouldn't even be complained about, considering it requires skill to get a kill with a pistol while lying on the floor where other players can EASILY headshot you.

Martyrdom. The only place you should be complaining about this perk is in Shipment, & if you're idiotic enough to go to a Shipment server that allows more than 12 people than you deserve to die. Martyrdom + Sonic Boom, DON'T COMPLAIN. Even if it is unfair, the other player is sacrificing other useful perks to use an easily avoidable tactic.

Wow, Left 4 Dead is pretty fun when you play it co-op with a friend via LAN. Just tried it out at the cyber cafe with my friend because we were bored & had nothing else to do. When I say something from the Valve Corporation is good, it MUST BE, considering I'm an anti-Valve person.

Might buy it, but I'm not sure if it will be as fun playing alone than co-op.

Alot of contradicting sources flying across the web. Just got something else from my weekly "Fable II for PC" search on Google, & found a short article stating that due to Fable II's success on the XBox360, production for the PC was "imminent". I'm not getting my hopes up too much though.

Heh, fixed the problem. Should have used common sense & checked the Punbuster webiste first, instead of complaining & blaming. Just have to manually update Punkbuster from now on. Better start repatching CoD4 again tomorrow.

On Friday 13th I lost $50.00.. just found it. Jeez I am an idiot.

It was inside the pocket of a pair of jeans I wore the day before. Thank god I didn't put it in the washing. :S

Having yet ANOTHER problem with CoD4, this time with Punkbuster. I don't know whether to blame Infinity Ward or Windows Vista, but I think there's error in both parts.

Anyway, currently reinstalling CoD4 for at least the FOURTH time. Hopefully no more sh*t happens after I completely reinstall it. I hate patching it every time I reinstall it.

These constant problems have put me off CoD for a while, I'm gonna play Fable to put my mind of it.

EDIT: Reinstalled, & the same crap is coming up again. After I join a server, Punkbuster kicks me & gives me a message like this (this is not the exact message, just what I can remember):

"Service Communication Failure: Punkbuster kicked player "AshBrahh".

pnkbstrB.exe failed to initialize"

If anyone has a decent solution, please tell me :( .

I hope your friday 13th was better than mine. I somehow lost $50.00 while I was at a cyber cafe with some friends. :(
