That's because new people who start posting in OT right away usually are. People come to Gamespot to talk about video games, then they discover OT while they're here and may end up staying in OT (though I don't understand why they don't post elsewhere). People don't come to GS brand new just to post in OT. Yeah, the lack of foresight always boggles my mind when you see a "new" member with ten posts who already seems to know the trends and users of OT.
I joined to post on OT, i had been reading it for several months though.
