i had to do this cos my Xbox broke. you need to buy the biggest memory card available and put leave your profile in it whilst you do this next you need to make sure you have your 20gb hard drive in the xbox and copy all the data that can fit on to it and then put the 120gb in and then move the files off the memory card and repeat as many times as necessary
i have tried restarting my xbox again and again and that doesn't have any effect and this is weird because it usually works after restarting it but this is the first time it has stopped working altogether which is weird. Since i have had my console for a number of years it isn't covered by the warranty, without a warranty can i still send it away to get repaired or will i just have to get a new one
does it matter that i don't live in the US

Since your warranty has most likely expired. You have the option of either buying a new Xbox 360, or paying $100 or so to get your current one repaired through Microsoft's repair center. As far as a non-US residence, I'm not sure how it would work for you. Which country do you live in?
