can anyone tell me if i buy this card will it be compatible on a PCI express board? i hear some wont but others will, help would be appreciated. if so will there be any cons to using it on a PCI express instead of PCI express 2.0?
In your price range, it is just the FX5200 and others similar to it. However, for $50 (after rebate) you can get the ATI Radeon HD 2400. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131082 I played half-life 2 on max settings on the laptop version of the ATI Radeon X1300 before, so this will probably do better.

Was thinking of getting an 8800GT so that I might be able to play Crysis on something other than low at low res (the demo, no way I was spending $50 for something thats only barely going to run)
Buy windows XP now, and wait until may on the rest. Because by then the Core i7 (nehalem) will be out, and you need a new motherboard for that, and nvidia and ATI's new offerings will likely to be out as well. (If not, their current offerings will have a price drop.)

My xbox had a one flashing red light with E74. Those with the RROD and similar problems, may know that you supposedly ship your xbox to a certain 4250 samuell blvd, in Mesquite Texas. So, who knows where the real xbox repair center is.
