@rolla020980 @Auronvolgar @willy34 first of, a Virtual core react like a normal core, that means if we have a CPU with 4-cores VS one that has 2-cores and 2 virtual cores if all the other features are the same they are going to have the same power + the one with the virtual cores will be less expensive for the compane. Second AMD had create Opteron 6262H and other models and look at that its a copy from their site {AMD proudly presents the AMD Opteron™ 6200 Series—the world’s first and only 16-core x86 server processor with the highest core density for incredible scalability to handle demanding multi-threaded workloads such as cloud computing, virtualization, high-performance computing (HPC), databases and business applications.} those CPU cost 432.1-1045.87 euros and that's the price for a normal customer if a company goes to buy a lot of them AMD is going to sell then with ''wholesale price'' that means less than 432.1 per CPU.
@GamerOuTLaWz you mean that they are more like cinematics that we sometimes play on them? (no offence at all, i just want to know with what way you are saying this)
@DuaMn @Auronvolgar didnt say that i am master on english too, but i will tel you this, every time that someone like you doesnt have anything to say back to me and i mean FACTS no personal opinions he start talking about how my english are bad etc
@DuaMn @Auronvolgar did i say that my PC will be able to run all the games? i am sorry hat your prain misunderstood what i wrote down. but for the numbers, you are right, my pc ofc will not be able to run half od the games and that's because half of the games will be console only, all my life bro i have to do with hardware and spect. and this xbox is low end console. that's a fact, its stronger than xbox360 but that's his cap. And is natural their is an economic problem out there, they cant create a badass console that will cost more than 700euros. they want everyone to be able to by it!!! all those are facts, you dont get it? not my problem, a goat doesnt know what an atom is that doesnt mean that atoms doesnt exist.
@riotinto876 @Auronvolgar i didnt say that there were i7 in 2006 lol..... i said that cell was crete it back then :S read more careful plz. now explain me how i am fanboy without owning PS, PS2, or PS3 and the only thing that i got from sony is my old sony ericson self phone. srly man, 1st learn to read, 2nd dont change my words as you like, 3rd those things that i told you its facts. If you cant accept that PS3 its gr8er than xbox 360 you are the fanboy here not me that in the end dont own even a single hardware from sony
And if you can't get it how the hell sony got such a powerful CPU back on 2006 that is more powerful than a CPU of 2011 then i can easely tell you to see thise link and see with your own eyes what they did 6-7 years ago with transistors and what we currently has on our desktops.
In 2006, a team of Korean researchers from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) and the National Nano Feb Center codeveloped a 3 nm transistor. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/5_nanometer
The technology is far ahead than what we got on our PCs
@riotinto876 what do i need to explain? Core i7-980 @4.5GHz has 97GFLOP ok? now if we see the statistics of the CPU that new xbox is supose to use we can see that their CPU is going to have less than 97GFLOP. ok? good. PS3 has the cell as a CPU that has theoretical 230 GFLOP they say theoretical because its not easy to find out how powerful a CPU is without the rest of the hardware that you will need like RAM, GPU etc but every CPU has its limits so the limits of Cell is 230GFLOP so if the i7-980 that has higher specs than the new CPU of xbox cant even reach the CPU of PS3 how do you expect and how you can say that this CPU is good when PS3 CPU is by far gr8er. P.S. I hope i become clear, if you dont understand with my bad english i will see what i can do to fix that sorry.
@Kane04 with cloud gaming only will be able for steam to be on console, but we are far away for that to happend yet, maybe on 6years it will happend but not now
