It's because the PS3 controller doesn't have a rumble feature.

[QUOTE="Generic_Dude"]

[QUOTE="Aussie21"][QUOTE="specialed"]And the same coudl be said about the ps3 controller and the xbox360 controller...if you need them, you need them. As technology advances, so does prices. But i am sure N and Sony and Microsoft factored in the fact that the economy is also 'better' than it was 10-20 years ago, thus we can afford a 60 dollar controller as opposed to the 80's where a 30 dollar controller then was probably considered expensive...As income ncreases per houshold over the years, so does prices for things...akuya32

Just what i was gonna say, no more costly than xbox/ps3 and i already have gamecube cotrollers and so do most and why do you need 4 classics?

A 360 controller -- wireless -- is $50. A Wiimote is $30, with the nunchuck being $20 and a classic controller being $20. The 360 controller does everything you need to do on a 360. To do everything you need to do on a Wii, you've got to put out $70. Those aren't the same number, hombre.

He has a point. The 360 and the PS3 controller lets you play every game that is made for that system and you don't have to buy extra stuf to play the games. All you need is that contoller you buy without an extra peice or a special controller. Anyway, the best way around it is have friends with controllers and have them bring them over or vice versa. Thats what we do. Its not really a big deal, but it is troublesome that you you need a different controller to play games. The gamecube controllers really isn't a problem cause most people already have them so this really isn't a big deal. If you play SB or DON or mary Party you should already have 4 GC controllers ready to go.

You said it yourself. You can play every xbox game with the controller it comes with. You dont need any other controller to play any Wii games, you need another one to play games that where out for different systems, OWNED
